Does the job
Apart from the distance from the probe to the bed is very small it’s a very good probe and when I need one again I will be grabbing one of these

Sensing distance very short
Not sure if my unit was defective or whether it is just because of the surface i am trying to detect but I found that the sensing distance was actually less than 1mm with my 3mm aluminium bed surface.

Pinda sensor
Nice looking sensor, I haven't tried it yet

Great little probe, but no good if you have a magnetic base like the Ender 3's magplate
Pinda sensor is a great little probe, small and lightweight, works on the stock ender 3 board, but does require a spring steel build plate in order to work properly as the sensor range is very small (approximately 2mm) which is smaller than the width of the magnetic build surface available for the ender 3.The wires for the pinda sensor are also quite a bit shorter, so I've extended them with some Dupont connectors.

Sensing distance nowhere near 2mm but a good quality probe
As mentioned by one of the other reviewers, the sensing distance is very short against what is a fairly hefty 3mm aluminium bed which is causing some challenges. A good quality probe, but overall, probably not worth the premium.
