Good for beginners to metal puzzles
I definitely took my time trying to make sure I got a metal puzzle set that was going to make up for my lack of experience with metal; I've done a few wood puzzles but knew metal would be different with bending. I figure if i break one bug at least i have 5 others. This was perfect as a first piece. Yes it's small, and I have shaky hands but still felt it was not difficult. So far I have 2 done and none ruined!

Fun project
This was my first attempt at a metal model that goes together with the little tabs. It was a ton of fun and turned out a very beautiful piece. The directoons were very clear and the parts all fit together well. The only issue I had was with the little pearls. Their "casings" are a not quite adequate and I could tell that the pearls would pop out and be lost pretty easity so I glued them in and the set the pieces in place. Not a big deal at all! I Love my Cicada! And the magnets are good and strong so I know if I choose to wear it as a brooch, it will stay in place!

It looks really cool when assembled.
I like doing puzzles but this one was frustrating to put the tiny beads into the holders. Did it really bother me, no, but it was tedious. I still really enjoyed putting together. This puzzle looks really cool when assembled, even better then the picture but it wise to get some flush cut snips to remove from tray.

Pretty but tough
Nice design, easy to follow instructions, but material is hard to bend where the joints meet to put it together as the bendy part is short and hard to grasp, even with pliers. Gave up half way through and I have a lot of patience and will.

Fun and harder than it looks
This metal 3D puzzle was a really fun and satisfying project! The pieces are well-made and fit together nicely, and the final result looks amazing on display. Just a heads-upโitโs definitely more challenging than it looks. Youโll need patience and steady hands, but if you enjoy detailed work, itโs totally worth it. Great for puzzle lovers who like a bit of a challenge! Be sure to have better eyesight than me.

Lovely!
Loved putting this one together! Easy enough instructions. Metal is decently sturdy.

Not a challenge, just a frustration
The pic is a result of lots of glue (on every piece) and lots of cursing. And the object went right in the garbage. My theory is that the computer generated puzzle then has a computer generated pic. I have the tiniest hand for an adult and some pieces were too tiny for me to work with. I don't think a human can make this puzzle. Don't waste your time and money.

Beautiful
These were very challenging to put together, but well worth the effort. I love these little guys. Takes about one hour per bug to assemble.

It was my first model and I tried it on hard mode and it still turned out great!
The Ladybird came out really nice. This was my first build before I tried the bigger models, and was very happy with the result. I recommend you put the magnet at the butt instead of the head, as the magnets are very strong, and you will need the extra space for your fingers to get a hold of. When putting the filigree coating on the other magnet, be sure to half build it before putting the magnet in like the instructions said. I was a fool and tried to assemble the enclosure around the magnet, but the magnet is so strong my tools just kept snapping to it. If your going to actually wear it, I recommend a small dab of superglue to reinforce the 2 front feelers and the little filigree tail at the back, as they can catch on fabric and bend very easily. If you wanna get super fancy you can hide the more visible tabs by folding in the receiving tabs and locking them internally. This worked really well for me on the 4 wings, and the head pieces. I did it for the black back as well, but shouldn't have bothered, as they end up hidden by the filigree, so I spent time being fiddly for no reason. You CAN do it for the legs, but it will be a real pain to sort of rotate them in a way to get the tabs in. IF you do try, and you really don't have to, they're very small. Then I recommend that in addition to bending in the receiving tabs, pre-bend the legs themselves LENGTH WAYS, as in rounding them as if they had meat in them. It gives more room for the tab to go in, and I think makes the legs look better. Luckily you have a couple attempts, as they give you extra pieces for SOME of the legs, the smallest and most fiddly pieces! It was a great afternoon.

Better than expected
This cicada is so beautiful. I love all the little details and really appreciated having a few extra pearls / beads. I did lose one so I'm very happy there were a few extra included. It was pretty easy to build compared to some other ones I've tried in the past. Hardest part was the beads. It helps if you hold it with pliers then use another pair of pliers to push the metal around the bead
