Seems to work well. WiFi definitely pinging but haven’t had a chance to set that portion up yet. Had to do a semi custom install due to situation. On video was pushing down on sump pump float in order to test sump pump alarm float.

I work for a shellfish company and we needed to monitor water levels at our hatchery. Other companies that offer commercial products for water level management have expensive support and product plans but the units we got from sump alarm are well built and super easy to setup and install. It's great to have something off the shelf that works so seamlessly. I even contacted Sump Alarm and their customer support is great and talked me through how to wire their alarm box to other switches like a flow paddle switch. We have saved countless hours and dollars thanks to these units. Great product!

Easy to install. Upgraded 50 year old alarms to the age of mobile notification so I will know when there is an issue with my septic pump tank no matter where I am. Works with old float also.

I installed this until 2+ years ago. I am just as enthusiastic as I was at that time. The customer support is terrific. I had a problem with a weak WIFI signal (no fault of the company) and they also followed up to solve my issue immediately. This year I am going to start a big home remodel. I don’t have a basement (in CA we don’t usually have those things), but I’ll still probably install a unit in my crawl space. The chance of having a problem in my specific house is small, but so is the relative cost of this unit. If I had an actual basement, I can’t I manage being without a SumpAlarm. Here’s my original 2017 post: Just finished hooking this up...so far, WOW. I wish had known about this years ago. Now I have WIFI control of my water system. I don't want to track for the PRESENCE of water, such as with a leaky basement, but the ABSENCE. My weekend house is in a rural area and I have a water tank. Once in a while, in the summer, I'm watering too much and the tank runs dry. If we are at the house, my wife goes crazy. It doesn't help much to say "honey, just wait an hour and the well will refill the tank a bit..." if she is just ready to get in the shower. I recently changed my sprinkler controllers ---the old one died and I put in "B-Hyve" by Orbit. Far better than the old one at 20% of the cost. Now I can control my irrigation system from my IPhone...anywhere, anytime. So, back to the Sump Alarm. Now if my water tank drops to a preset level I get an email (you can also set it for a text or call)...and I can cut back (or turn off) my sprinkler system. Problem solved...anywhere in the world, 24/7. If there is a break in a water line, my tank will run low and I will get an alert. It will keep alerting you (preset interval) until the problem goes away, or you turn the alarm off. And, a bonus is that you can set it to alert you if your power is out. That happens once in a while here. I set it for an alert after two hours, but you can set whatever you want. Now to customer support. I perceived this company to have good support and that is why I bought from them, as compared to a competor with a producted that seemed similar. I am NOT handy, and was very concerned about my ability to hook this up. It turned out to be super super super simple, but before I ordered it, I exchanged email with the very helpful and patient Scott from Sump Alarm, and then spoke on the phone. He told me the unit I had just ordered from Amazon would work, but it was intended for indoor installation. I could put in an indoor location, but another model for outdoor installation (about $30 more) was better. Scott made an exchange easy. Installing the unit in my tank only took a few minutes. I do have to say that the YouTube instructions for Wi-Fi enabling were confusing. I am not very computer friendly -so my wife took over. It was confusing to her too, but we ultimately got it set without having to call tech support. So, if Sump Alarm wants to improve, I suggest making the Wi-Fi connection process more understandable. BUT there is no way I'm going to reduce my rating to four stars for that. I am THRILLED to have this product. I have had a lot of worries over the years about my tank running dry. I am not a person who normally bothers to post reviews on Amazon, but this product is so helpful I'll bet a lot of people with a need for high OR low water alerts would benefit from the relatively modest cost. For $180 this device is gonna save my lawn AND my marriage ;-)

Works great, appears to be of high quality and quality control. The audible alarm should be louder even though an alarm is sent by email, text and voice! There is no way to silence the alarm until the over flow warning is corrected. The device can be unplugged if the alarm is too annoying. Better than an old fashion audible alarm located at the pump. Better yet, installed it inside the house for better protection against moisture which caused 2 previous audible claxon horns to fail.
