Aspiring young fashion designers must have
Great book for aspiring young fashion designers. There are drawing/sketching pages, actual activity pages with pattern making and sewing instructions, and tips and tricks on designing. I think the age gap of 8-14 is pretty acurate.

This was a gift and the girl aged 10 that received the book- really is into it! She has slowly gone through each project and prompts in the book. She still is completely absorbed and refers back to the book for new projects where her imagination has been sparked by something new she learned from it.

Perfect for pre-teen focused on fashion design
11-year old daughter interested in fashion design loved this book. The existing tastefully proportioned figures allows her to focus on clothing design not mastering complex figure drawing.

My 12 year old stepdaughter started designing straight away.
I bought this for my stepdaughter. She lives with her mother in another country. She is 12 and told me she wants to be a fashion designer. I looked through Amazon and bought this and a few other relevant things for her. Included were some coloring pens. Being perfectly honest, I didn't look at the book much myself. After a few days my stepdaughter sent me some designs she had done. I showed them to my sister [her aunt]. My sister thought hey were great.

As Photo, But for Under 12 year olds
Book looks the same as photo. It didn't give as much as I thought it would,but it's good for those that are beginners. Purchase for children under 12 years old that aren't professional artists.

Good intro to fashion
The activities in this book are great for a fashion minded child. A lot of good content that focuses on design rather than construction 👍 My only minor complaint is that the spine seems to be printed upside down.
