Update: My unit failed after a few months, but the seller went out of their way to replace it with a new unit, no questions asked and without requiring me to send in the old one. The new unit is working great and I applaud the manufacturer and seller for making this right. Only way I could see to improve the unit is to have a cover over the A/C screw terminals so that there's no chance of touching the connectors. Otherwise, great transformer. I have 3 of them and they are perfect for use under my kitchen cabinets (LED strip lighting). THANK YOU !

I bought this after another 12V supply I bought on Amazon failed on the second day when the main capacitor blew under a light load, powering 4 CCTV cams. This power supply looks better made with the capacitor bedded in a heat sink compound. Comes well packaged with a spec sheet (which the other PS didn't bother with).

I thought the product came with broken (turns out it was only user error). NiuGuy was very quick with his responses, and very helpful making everything right. The product works well and is now being used in my smart bartender!

My power supply stopped working on October 15, 2018; I had received the unit on July 22, 2018. I contacted the supplier NIUGUY through Amazon. They responded that electronic products are often affected by the environment in which they are used, and there is a certain minimal failure rate. They are backing their 3 year warranty by sending me a new power supply replacement.

I am a contractor and have worked with drivers like this on many projects. I was looking for a quality unit that was certified for use in the US. Bought this unit for led lighting. 1st unit lights went out and started smoking. 2nd unit worked, but when I went to adjust the voltage the lights went out and would not turn back on despite power cycling and lowering voltage, discovered the cheap Vadj dial had broken form a light turn. 3rd unit went to adjust voltage (extra gentle) and again lights went out and could not be brought back on despite the dial still being intact. Is it just me or is it stupid to have an exterior voltage adjustment that apparently renders the unit useless after using it.

I purchase two of the power supplies and they have worked very well and solved many of my problems with the quality of my DVR's picture. No more waves of dark lines across the picture due to poor ground and low out put of power to the cameras. I've had the two power supplies for about four weeks now and are very happy with them. I can't speak about how they will hold up over time but if I get two years out of them I will be very happy.

I'm using this power supply and sized it to be 3x the max amperage needed for a boombox. It runs cool and the voltage (adjustable) is spot on.

Work really well, but it heats up quite a bit, Was trying to put it in a close space, now I need active cooling for it.

Unit was dead on arrival. Problem was a cold joint on the terminal block on the "L" signal. It is a pity that such a basic flaw was not caught at QC. Disappointing. I will never recommend a manufacturer that can't even spot such a blatant cold joint at QC.
