RV Travel Trailer Entry Door Lock Polar Black Paddle Deadbolt

This door lock exceeded my expectations. It feels solid and secure, and the deadbolt adds real peace of mind when I leave my trailer. Installation was straightforward and it fits perfectly. Definitely a great upgrade for security—highly recommended.

I had to replace my handle on my ‘04 Lance 845 truck camper. This one fit perfectly. Had a solid feel to it and work as expected. Four screw easy install.

I installed this handle on my brand new trailer door so i could close it from the inside since it only came with the big bar latch system on it and we couldn't keep the door closed while we were inside the trailer. While it was intimidating cutting into my new door, installation went much better than I anticipated since I had never done something like this before. I recommend creating a template, as I did, before hand so you are sure placement is correct before you start cutting holes in your door but I imagine if you're replacing a broken latch this will be an easy swap. Keys stick a little going into the locks but they function perfectly once you get them in.

It’s a good product and definitely replaces the OEM hardware. I noted the keys and slots are a blocky fit. The key doesn’t push the slot guard out of the way as nicely as the factory equipment but it’s installed now so it lives there.

It's as described. People called it cheap and weak. It's the same quality as the stock lock on the trailer. My keys have held up for months and work just fine. Haven't snapped like another review has stated. I'm in the process of building my home and living in a trailer in the meantime so the lock and keys receive daily use by two people. Do I think this will actually stop someone from getting in my trailer, no. It's a deterrent and hopefully provides an extra minute for me to wake up and gather myself while someone is trying to get in at night. I like how it comes with extra keys.

Works well, came with all hardware and everything to get it installed

I installed the door latch on a Tahoe by Thor industries 5th wheel, the latch was a perfect fit, so much so that I was able to use my original interior latch handle, the latch seems as sturdy as the original we just preferred the textured chrome interior latch from our old latch. The latch has some upgrades from the original, it has a newer external design, and a much better designed taper to the latch, the door closes and latches much smoother than the original. The key design is ambidextrous in that it fits the key hole either way, kinda nice in the dark.

It was simple and very easy to undo the old lock and replace it with a new one, however as I was replacing what was then a 4 year old lock seeing weather from ice to sand it still seemed to be more sturdy and better built. That being said, this is still a very good cheap alternative when your in a bind and have to replace your handle fast and cheap. For the price of recommend this to anyone. However if you have the extra $15-$25 I'd spend it on the better built name brand that will hold up better. I've had this one for less than 6 months and I already have to grease the handle to help it close if I don't I have to slam the door because the latch catches.

We broke the key in our previous trailer lock, and this ended up being a great replacement! It is much more heavy duty than the stock lock that came with the trailer, and it was easy to install. The keys also look like they will hold up better and not as flimsy as our old ones. Just installed it so can’t speak about long term, but happy so far!
