GBL Heavy Duty 50mm Castor Wheels Set of 4 – 200kg Swivel Castors with Brakes, Wheels for Furniture, Trolley, Workbench & Cabinet +16 Screws Included

These are great! They are very sturdy and exactly as shown in the photos. I chose the "no brakes" version. The dimensions are: Overall height - from the bottom of the wheel to the top of the fixing plate: 71mm Wheel Diameter: 50mm Width of fixing plate: 51mm Length of fixing plate: 70mm Length of supplied screw thread: 23mm Required pilot hole size for screws: 4mm I used them, with some sturdy scrap wood, to make a platform to wheel my heavy Bosch table saw under a bench for storage. See my 2 photos. My table saw weighs around 27kg - which I know isn't that much - but it's awkward to place and retrieve from under a bench! My platform, with these wheels, makes it so much easier! I was concerned that the wheels wouldn't roll properly on my rough concrete garage floor - but they glide effortlessly - so I needn't have worried! The wheels are hard rubber/plastic - definitely not what Rufus says! The wheels are not made of soft rubber - Rufus is, yet again, wrong here! The bearings are reliable and allow a full 360 degree turn of the wheels very easily. These are excellent value too, at around £11 for the 4. Looking on the high street, I couldn't find value like this. A great purchase and thoroughly recommended! Hope I've helped :-)

Just decked out my DIY workbench with these GBL caster wheels and wow, what a game-changer! The installation was a breeze – the included screws fit perfectly, and I had them on in no time. They roll smoother than butter on a hot pan, and the locking mechanism is solid – no more runaway benches for me! I’ve got a pretty hefty setup, but these casters handle the weight like it’s nothing. Plus, they’re kind to my floors; not a scratch or scuff in sight. Whether it’s shuffling around tools or rearranging the garage, these wheels make it feel like everything’s on cloud nine. If you’re on the fence about getting these, just go for it. They’re tough, reliable, and honestly, make moving heavy stuff kinda fun. Two thumbs up for GBL!

Did everything expected of them. Good quality for price .

These castor wheels are excellent! They roll smoothly, stay silent, and the brakes hold furniture securely. Very sturdy and easy to install with the screws provided. Perfect for moving heavy furniture without scratching the floor.

Good quality

Had a new lounge carpet fitted recently, and it’s quite thick. So thought we’d try these castors on our small coffee table, as dragging it back and forth through thick carpet was becoming damaging and was really hard work! Because of the structural build of our coffee table we had to use our own screws and could only fix 3 screws in, (which we were aware of from viewing the product profile photos on Amazon, and comparing them to the bottom of our coffee table). We assumed 3 screws would be sufficient, and that assumption turned out to be correct. These castors work perfectly for what we wanted them for. They fitted really well and once screwed on felt very sturdy. So we can now pull, push and swivel our coffee table effortlessly through our new thick carpet. They were simple to fit! The brakes work well, albeit not sure we’ll have much need for them. They swivel 360. If you do need to use your own screws you will need screws with big heads on, or some washers. There is nothing wrong with the screws that came with castors. They look good for more heavy furniture.

Used these to make two plant pot caddy's for 50/60kg pots. I had concerns about the wheels getting stuck in the joints of my brick paving, but there isn't any problems. They look a very substantial castor and are ready to install, the mobility on my caddy's is great. Very pleased with the product. I will be making more.

These are Strong and sturdy, easy to fit, I have them on practically anything that is heavy, my sofas, units etc. worth the money and makes life easier.
