Just what we needed, easy to use, great rice everytime. Wish the instructions were better

This was my first rice cooker and it's one of the best purchases I've ever made. It's been over 2 months of use once or twice weekly and I've never had an issue. Extremely simple and easy to operate, it doesn't take up much space on the counter, and it delivers perfect rice every time. Cooking time is about 10 to 15 minutes, plus 10 minutes of rest on the "keep warm" mode before fluffing it for the best results. If you leave it on "keep warm" for a while, the edges become crispy. After boiling, it automatically flips to "keep warm", and stays that way until you turn it off. I wash it by hand to preserve the non-stick coating, so far it doesn't have a single scratch. If the rice you're using is very starchy and you didn't wash it, it might bubble up through the lid and cause a minor spill like I've seen some other reviews mention. Just wash the rice until it runs at least mostly clear, and if you're worried, put a bunched-up paper towel next to the hole in the lid for safety. Three rinses are generally enough for me, I use short grain and basmati rice. Two full cups of rice (using the measuring cup that comes with the rice cooker) very comfortably serves enough for two people. I haven't tried the steaming basket, but I doubt you could fit 2 cups of rice and the steaming basket in the rice cooker at the same time. Otherwise, it's absolutely perfect. It makes having delicious fluffy rice so easy, it's practically "set it and forget it". A must-have if you don't have the time and/or energy to watch over a traditional pot of rice and worry about burning it.

Jättebra riskokare! Brukar koka quinoa i den (ratio 1:2 quinoa:vatten) utan problem. Det fastnar lite i botten men det blir inte bränt. Tips att ha i lite salt eller buljong för att vattnet inte ska koka över (som det gjort för mig innan jag kom på det).

Très bon produit. Cuisson homogène. Par contre, la notice est très peu bavarde. Quasi rien. Il faut chercher sur Internet. On a réussi à cuire du riz, pâtes et pâtes fraîches. Les temps de cuisson sont assez courts. La quantité est pour 1 personne, max 2.
