This a a very nice flute cleaning kit. I purchased it for my Irish whistles. And for anyone else thinking along the same lines, the 2 fluffy ID cleaners will not fit into a 'D' whistle. The slotted stick with the fabric patch will do the job though.

Maybe this kit is a little over the top for a C flute but I definitely get my flute cleaned in a jiffy with this cleaning kit. I’m able to transition from flute practice to choir in 5-8 minutes. Gloves are wonderful addition to cleaning regimen.

I gave 3 stars on this product for multiple reasons. First one being that it came broken, I had 3 products in one large box so it doesn’t look like it was broken from transport. It looks as though it was broken before it was shipped, based on how and where it was broken. My second reason for the 3 stars is that the gloves will not fit most people. They fit me perfectly which is great but I’m always told I have baby hands. So if you don’t have small hands, you can almost guarantee the gloves won’t fit. Third reason for my review, I’m glad I have a metal bar to clean my flute because the wooden one provided in this cleaning kit seems very flimsy. I haven’t tried using the product on my flute, but I hope it all works well. The price of the product is what got me to buy it, so I’d say it was worth that. The color was also a huge factor as my niece loves purple. Otherwise I would buy it again and I would recommend it so long as the other factors wouldn’t deter you away.

I got it for maintaining my Irish wooden flute and it does what it's supposed to do. About the only complaint I have so far is that it's leaving little purple fuzzies behind when using the cloth with rope on it when I pull it through the flute. I've had to go back and blow the flute out and run the cloth back through a few times to get rid of them. I've used the cloth about a dozen times and it's finally not leaving the bits behind
