Best thing I bought in a long time! No more dragging the hose from the front yard to the back and vice versa. You can use the valves to shut off the water supply for either one. Imperial fitting
Imperial fitting. Not compatible. You will need to spend a small fortune in plumbing tape to stop the leak from the ill fitting piece. Fortunately I don’t need to remove and replace hoses all the time so I no longer feel so irritated having applied all the tape.

One thing missing
The product is very well made. It's missing only one thing. It says it's a "garden hose connector" in the description and on the package. What diameter are the threads? Unknown. Not stated. Are all garden hose connections the same thread diameter? No they are not. So I purchased this product for my hose nib and garden hoses. Guess what. It doesn't fit. Others who sell similar products put the diameter in their description. Please do so.
