Great product. I have 2 of these for my very food driven dogs who (without one of these) can eat their food within 30 seconds. This bowl makes them slow down a lot. We feed 300g of wet/raw per meal and use the smaller bowl.

This has really helped to slow my dog’s eating down. She otherwise inhaled her food in a matter of seconds and was frequently sick as it just sat in her stomach as a large mass. Easy to clean and the rubber base means that as a small dog, she can’t knock it over. Doesn’t wobble either.

Our lab puppy has gone from a few minutes eating his food to 10-15 minutes! Amazing slow feeder. Would highly recommend. Medium is a good size for him at 16 weeks. We always put lots of water in his dry food. As he gets past 6 months we'd need to move to a large. Very sturdy.

This was purchased for my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who has always eaten his food far too quickly. I have been using another type of bowl to slow him down but he has adapted to this and can still shovel his food away far too quickly. This Kyjen bowl has done the trick! It has really worked in ensuring he eats more slowly. What used to take him 2 minutes to eat now takes anywhere between and 8 and 13 minutes - this depends on the type of food and this is something which should be borne in mind by prospective purchasers ( 'dry' food for example will be eaten far more quickly ). Another issue to consider is the frustration caused if the dog is unable to access the food in the bowl. I found that my wee chap became extremely irate ( pushing the bowl, hitting it with his paw and becoming quite annoyed ) when he could not access the last few bits of food. I noticed that this always coincided with these bits of food being in the OUTER ring of this bowl. Therefore, I now try and ensure that none of the food is placed within this ring. Actually, putting the food into the bowl is an art in itself and again this is something any prospective purchasers needs to think about and learn to do to get the most out of this bowl. A balance needs to be struck between slowing the eating down and not causing undue frustration. All in all, this has been a worthwhile purchase and it certainly works but it does require some getting used to by both dog and owner to achieve the maximum benefit. Afterthought - the success of this bowl may be down to another factor, namely, the shape of the head of your particular dog. An animal with a sharper nose/jowls profile will not be slowed down as much as a dog with a flatter or rounder nose/jowls profile.

Absolute lifesaver!! My staffy is a big one for guzzling his food and chewing bowls and this one is a game changer. The medium size easily holds 250g of raw meat and could probably be pushed to 350-400g without much worry and he's yet to put a mark on it. Would absolutely recommend to anyone with a fast eater and will be getting the large side when pups portion sizes get big enough.

This bowl seems sturdy and well made. I had high hopes of using it to help slow down my 11-week-old lab puppy, who tends to guzzle her food in about 10 seconds flat. I thought that as a puppy, her muzzle would easily fit in the gaps and she wouldn't have too much trouble getting kibble out. But she appears to be completely unable to reach and grasp the kibble as it slides around in the bowl. I think perhaps her muzzle isn't long enough. She finds it pretty frustrating, even with a lot of help from me. She now tends to focus her effort on trying to grab the bowl and tip it over. Maybe it will work better when she's older, but for now I'm giving up on it.

Highly recommend has slowed our dog right down. He previously had a pets at home slow feeding bowl over the last month or so I noticed he had started to basically inhale it and finish his food quickly. However this new bowl has slowed him down. Great material, very reasonably priced, super easy to clean too

I was pleasantly surprised by this bowl, good quality, love the colour and it has hugely slowed down my beagles dinner time, this means he isn’t finished much quicker than my other dogs hassling them.

El tamaño que pedí era pequeño y aún así esta más grande de lo que me esperaba, para razas pequeño a mediano En la parte de abajo tiene como antiderrapante o goma para que no se le sea tan fácil de mover. Cumple su función, mi perro comía todas sus croquetas en 1-2 min y ahora lo hace en más tiempo 7-10 min. Recomendable para cachorros para que aprendas a comer más despacio.

Great size and my dog loves it. He leaves some kibble after breakfast and goes back during the day to eat and play. And it is designed so he has to pace his eating and not instantly devour it. Great product!

I have tried many Slow Bowls, but this one is of great quality and has anti slip pads on the bottom. Also the bowl is a much heavier than most so it doesn’t slip and slide.

The bowl is great. I previously had some other bowl for slow feeding and my dog was still gobling food like crazy. With this bowl it is going nice and slow.
