Woodie's WH-002 Hanger for Guitars with 2 Strap Buttons on the Side and Angled Headstock

Purchased 3 to hang a couple of Les Pauls and a bass - all with angled headstocks. Installed 1 so far and it accommodates either LP - one with stock strap buttons the other with Schaller straplocks.I was lucky with my first choice of install location. Even though the walls are plasterboard all 3 screws hit wood and I was able to use them as supplied. My second attempt wasn't quite so lucky. One of the lower bracket screws hit wood - the second I couldn't drill deep enough use the supplied screw. On the upper bracket - fresh-air behind the plasterboard. I used a self-tapping plasterboard fixing but hadn't taken into account the spacer-block when I bought them. The screw supplied with the fixing was nowhere near long enough (~32mm) and the one supplied with the kit was too large for the fixing.No problems with the hanger itself - it seems sturdy enough and does a great job when fixed. Now I am scratching my head figuring out what fixings to use for the next two.Update - Now all three are finally up. I got hold of Fischer metal self tapping plasterboard fixings with 50mm screw which, with a 12mm M4 washer, was great for the upper brackets plus spacer. In the end I switched the bass for my old Shergold. For that one I just left out the spacer because it doesn't have a back angle on the neck / headstock.

Suited size for a PRS Starla (slightly angled stockhead) which looks great sitting at an angle.Provided screws too short for concrete wall with drywall overlay.Seems strong enough to do it's job. I take the quitar off almost daily and is easy enough not to worry about at all.Overall happy with it.Recommended.

Star off for price but really love the look - can't believe the missus was the one who wanted me to hang my axe :)

A good product for hanging a guitar safely at any angle on a wall ,can hardly be seen. The fixing instructions could be better, giving size of required drill bit for example, not a problem for me but maybe help a diy novice.

I bought these for my Son who cherishes his electric guitars and wanted to display them in the least unsightly manner. When the guitar is suspended, the hangers are barely visible. When the guitar is being used, the hangers don't spoil the appearance of the room. They are easy to fit to a wall or ceiling and can be positioned to make an impressive visual statement with your favourite guitar.

GREAT! We have several of them and they are fab! A little fiddly to get in place right but if you trust the instructions (and that they will hold the guitars), you will be fine.

Very simple product. Very easy to use. Just what I needed. Th fact that it is clear means that when mounted it looks a lot tidier than some of the unsightly units on the market.
