Coleman 3000005095 One-Mantle Kerosene Lantern Fuel Generator. Compatible with Coleman model 639 series lanterns (639/639B). Also known as older Coleman part 639B2992. Directions: 1. Turn fuel valve off. Remove ventilator, bail handle and globe. 2. Remove heat shield. Unscrew center bolt and lift burner and preheater cup from lantern. 3. Unscrew generator nut at bottom of generator. Lift generator and unhook cleaning rod. 4. On new generator, pull cleaning rod out about 1.9 cm (3/4") and rehook cleaning rod. Tighten generator nut firmly to form a leak tight joint. Avoid stripping threads. 5. Replace burner and preheater cup. Top of generator should fit into the burner opening. Replace center bolt. 6. Install heat shield. 7. Check mantle for damage and replace as needed. Reassemble lantern. Visually check for leaks immediately after lighting.
