I’ve been really happy with this external SSD. I mainly bought it to back up my important files, and it’s been reliable ever since. The 4TB capacity is more than enough for what I need. I’ve partitioned mine so that 1TB is dedicated to Time Machine backups on my MacBook, while the rest is used for storing photos and football videos. One of the best things about it is how small and lightweight it is. It’s incredibly portable, so it’s easy to carry around in a bag or even a pocket without taking up much space. The transfer speeds are excellent. Backing up large files is quick, and when I plug it into my MacBook, it only takes a few seconds before it’s recognised and Time Machine starts backing up automatically. That’s made backing up my data really convenient. The drive comes with a USB-C to USB-C cable, which is all I needed for my MacBook. The only minor downside is that the cable is quite short. If you’re using the drive away from a desk, it can leave the SSD hanging awkwardly, so I would have preferred a slightly longer cable. Mine arrived with a very small mark on the back, but it was only cosmetic and hasn’t affected the performance at all. It also includes access to some Adobe software offers, which is a nice extra, although I haven’t personally used them. It’s also compatible with modern USB-C devices, including newer iPhones, which makes it even more versatile. Overall, this has been a fast, reliable, and compact SSD that gives me peace of mind knowing my files are backed up safely. It’s definitely an expensive purchase, but considering the speed, storage capacity, and portability, I think it’s well worth it. Gaming note: I haven’t personally used it for gaming, but because of its fast SSD speeds it should work well for storing and running games on supported devices, depending on the console or computer you’re using.

It's physically tiny and light. It's like a matchbox or something. But yeh it's fast as anything. Using the seek bar on movie files is immediate. Love it.

Waterproof! Been using this for over a year. Compact, fast and after it accidentally went through a whole machine cycle, complete with cable, everything survived.

Excellent hard drive, made it bootable and have been using it as my laptop's main drive for 2 months. No complaints there. Very small form factor, good storage capacity obviously, easy to slip into pocket and feels solid. The cable it comes with is terrible. I wasn't able to use the hard drive as intended, or even format it. It is very stiff/inflexible (more so than the replacement I am using now), which already makes life a little harder if not plugging into the rear of a PC. But that could have been OK if the USB-C plug in connectors sat securely. They didn't. The connection would drop every time I touched my laptop, and even some times for no apparent reason. Great hard drive, unusable with included cable (just buy a separate cable when you buy the drive).

Works well have several games installed on this, plugs via usb-c at the rear of my machine so dont see it, was a lot smaller than i thought but thats works for me, will fit in the palm of your hand. fast and responsive for gaming. no issues.

I’ve had this for less than 2 whole months, was working just fine yesterday. Backed up all my data and deleted a lot of it off my hard drive to free up space. Less than 12 hours later it no longer mounts onto my computer! I’ve tried different ports and different cables, both on 2 different computers and it refuses to mount. The cables work with my other drives, the ports work as well on both computers. It’s just the drive itself. It looks like the middle bit of the port in the drive has moved or come loose, which is most likely the reason. WHY THOUGH!? WHAT IS THE POINT OF A BACKUP IF THE BACKUP IS SO BLOODY FLIMSY!? This is absolutely absurd! I’ve now lost so much data I needed, photos and videos of my daughter, EVERYTHING! 2 WHOLE TERABYTES OF MY DATA ARE GONE! Do not trust this drive and I will never buy crucial again!

Love these, they're fast enough for me until you get into really big files. Sending large files of over 100GBish will end up in thermal throttling. Other than that, they're still brilliant and i use them every day. Great value for money, good options for storage, silent operation.

Comodo, compatto, tutto sommato la velocità è decente (non velocissimo ma era dichiarata la cosa, peraltro utilizzo un vecchio computer che non mi consente di sfruttare appieno le caratteristiche). The SSD is quite small n cute ,performs well enough and I tried transferring file size of around 5gb ,the work done in 25s . So far no issues , can work around with OS files, useful for programming,can store large data bases with efficient n fast file transfer. The 1050 Mbps per second may vary depending upon USB ports of mobile,tab & windows as well as Iphone/ Mac devices. It slightly warms up in neglible amounts but no issues other than that. The functionality is satisfactory for mediocre & high end users selectively for gamers,content creators & people who use large DB. And lastly ,the price is affordable and it feels like we own usb otg or mini pendrive in our hands. It doesn't has direct NVMe connection,but houses it internally instead works with usbc gen 2 also same with DDR 3 . It's portable , durable compared to HDD but again it depends on individual requirements and tasks.
