Great set and quality

Item arrived damaged and can’t even exchange it. Really frustrating especially since the ISBN tag shows the price $50 cheaper than the price paid too.

Complete reference material. OUTSTANDING. This will be the pride of my library.

Not impressed by the price after I saw the book covers price

As someone brushing up on my TKD after years of absence I feel really good about this purchase. The books came quickly, wrapped in plastic, in a tight fitting box that was in another box - no damages. Great textbook style quality books. (About 2/3rds the size of your average school textbook) Book One is about TKD's purpose and history. Book Two holds the techniques (Stances, blocks, punches, kicks etc.) Book Three has all the Taegeuk forms and the black belt forms and the philosophy behind the practice. Book Four has all the two person self defense exercises and is about sparring. Book Five, the last book is about board breaking and group demonstrations. Excited to take my time reading through these and get into the spirit as well as having an irreputable index of all the forms which are beautifully laid out clearly in multiple ways.

Great books to have if you enjoy the sport

First, I would rate the book(s) 3-4 stars. The translation to English is much improved. The images are clearer and more useful information has been added. However, a lot of very useful information has been removed in this new edition. I'm giving a one star review based on the delivery. It was terrible. I bought two copies (weighing 4Kg /10lb each) and they were shipped in an oversized, flimsy box with very little internal packaging. They were effectively loose in the box. They were shipped to the UK from the USA by air. The external packaging was crushed and split open. The slip cases for were damaged beyond reasonable repair. The books were in a usable condition, but the hard covers were damaged, The books have clearly tumbled around during their transit. These books were intended as presentation gifts, but this will not be possible now. The delivery company must have been aware of the condition of the package. They dropped it at my door and left before I could reject the parcel. Amazon customer service was not helpful I was given the option of returning via a drop off point, or paying for a collection myself and claiming the cost back. Both options were inconvenient and costly. It meant paying for decent packaging myself, aside from the time and work involved. I have decided to keep the books as they are in a readable condition, and one set was an urgently required reference. I was very disappointed by this purchase. The book content is good, but if you are planning to buy them, I would suggest using an independent bookstore.

Books and storage case are sturdy. Font is Easy to read. Great pictures and content.
