Works great! Easy install

My fridge went out almost a year ago, the cheapest fridge I could buy (on a budget) was a Midea without the icemaker. I love a nice cold drink and hated the mess of ice cube trays. After a few days of looking around I saw this was an option to put in my new fridge and was way cheaper than the option to buy the same fridge with the ice maker already installed. This was easy to install, makes enough ice to fill the bucket in a single day, it's not too loud but you may hear it pull water from time to time. Overall if you're looking to replace your old one or finally install one into your current fridge this one is great!

Complete disappointment. I bought it because I have a Midea refrigerator, and this model number was recommended for my unit. First off, the ice maker looks nothing like the picture. The on/off bar is plastic, not metal. I thought it was simply a newer model or upgrade. So, I was able to install it as instructed and had no issues doing that. It worked fine for 2 weeks, then started producing ice with a huge chunk of ice in the bottom of the ice tray with all the ice melted together. After a few days more, it stopped producing ice, altogether. It doesn't even dispense water or go throught the ice making process. It doesn't matter if the on/off bar is up or down. I pressed the reset button as instructed MANY times over the course of a few days. The reset works fine, and produces water in the tray as it "rinses" the tray a few times, so I know the water solenoid is working fine. I went through all the troubleshooting options and still nothing. I have concluded that this is either junk, or I got a faulty unit. I tried to return it for exchange, but was given the option for a refund without sending it back. I thought, well, I guess I can just buy another one. I waited a couple hours and I got a $15 refund. $15 out of the $83 I paid for this. Now I have a paper weight that cost me $68. I want my money back, Midea. Buyer Beware....

One ice is very small

Very pleased with this purchase. Easy to install! Just as described!! This makes a perfect little icecube. I am pleased. Price was good. Kinda cheap feelong but it working great.

Great price! Easy to install!

Not well made but makes ice pretty good so far. The power cord is pretty short thus when the ice flips over it hits the cord...not good. I will try to reroute it in another manner. Also the handle that is supposed to let shut off the ice maker is not very effective. Would have been better to use the wire type that runs across the top of the ice. This arm style just seems to get buried in the ice.

Bought it for a new fridge that did not come with pre installed ice maker. Works fine.

The product was as advertised, and easy to install. Plugged into my Midea refrigerator and is producing ice cubes.

WARNING: If your unit comes with a plastic arm instead of metal one! The last step of the instructions is to 'lower' the arm. Do NOT do this with the plastic arm. It breaks, replacement ordered.

It makes ice. The manual is in Chinese English though and pretty confusing in some parts, and the self tapping screws were missing and I had to use my own.
