The removal tool is great. Easy to use, helped a lot. The mixer fits perfectly my older MOEN shower temp valve.

I order this aftermarket shower cartridge for my Moen shower/tub. It fits great and turns better than the original when it was new. This is the second shower cartridge I've had to replace. In both tubs the handle started getting stiff and hard to turn on/off. The first time I replaced with the original Moen cartridge, which cost twice as much and didn't come with a puller. I struggled with pliers to get the old cartridge out. This time I paid half the price for aftermarket, with the puller included making the job much easier, and the cartridge works better! I will definitely used this product again if I ever have to replace my other shower/tub cartridges.

Unfortunately this was the second time I have had one of these fail prematurely -- the one this was replacing had failed in under 3 years, and this one actually failed instantly, leaking worse than what it was replacing. This led to a lot of lost time as I tested this part in 6 different ways, and then had to go to a local retailer to instead buy the name brand Moen one instead, as we needed the fix now. Fool me twice, shame on me -- never will I buy this again. I give it one star because the extractor proved useful (would have been nice to have some actual instructions with that, not included) as I had extensive calcification and it made the difference in getting the old one out. The extra parts they supplied were also nice, and you can buy all of these separately. But the main part we bought? Plastic falling off immediately, didn't keep a seal/turn off fully, and frankly wasted a lot more of my time than if I had just bought the Moen official one and the 3rd party extractor tool (might save your plumbing if you end up with a stuck valve). Read my review and beware - I don't want my money back anymore, I lost time and had a really bad repair time spending 10X the time because of this faulty part.

Got here fast. While some people saying that the tool isn't needed I agree. Now that being said all it would take you is one stuck cartridge to waste your day. When it comes to plumbing when you have to shut the house water down and people are here it sucks. I was hesitant to try a non-name brand but figured I have to try because Im broke. It went in smooth. I bought a tube of plumbers grease as well. I highly recommend it on any water seal. My only issues were reversing the water sides. Yeah oops my bad. Good product and great to have the tool for the rest of my faucets.
