This pair of small suture scissors has many uses around the farm, removing sutures being only one, and an infrequent one at that, thankfully. They are made of a quality metal that is sturdy enough to make precise cuts through leather string for saddle repairs, but dainty enough to aid in the removal of burrs from the Border collie's coat. I have small hands, so they are just the right size for me. I have several pair and keep them in convenient places for all sorts of tasks. Just get them.

This is a handy pocket size suture scissor for clipping string off my tightly bound hay-rolls. Sharp and cuts well, and easier than the box knife I was using. Stainless Steel and appear of good medical grade quality. Just what I needed.

My dog had a surgery. He is a really big scary dog. To remove the stitches the vet needed to put him under anesthesia. The dog is so big, just the anesthesia meds would cost like 700$. The vet suggested to remove the stitches on our own. We fed him 30$ worth of raw lamb for destaction and used this scissors to remove the stitches. I think it was worth it.

When our little girl fell and hit her head, she got a few stitches (three). The doctor asked us if we wanted to come back and have them remove or if we would do it at home. She mentioned a Suture kit and said it’s pretty simple. Sure enough, it worked great. These were sharp and have the curve to get in and cut, without poking the skin. While we do have insurance, it saved us a trip and co-pay to the doc and was super convenient and easy.

high quality & cut through stitches on my foot like butter. blades are sharp and angled to easily fit between skin & stitch. why pay thousands to get stitches removed when you can do it yourself for less than $20.
