vidaXL Gabion Basket Galvanised Steel 150x50x100 cm

I bought it to fill with logs to make a ‘ bug bench’. It was really easy to put together, although of course I could have done with three hands rather than two! But I managed the spiral ties are really good as long as you get them the right way round they almost take themselves into place. There are three stabilising wires for the inside. I tried to get them near a joint, and they seem to have worked. It is filled with logs and looks good, but it does need a plank of wood or something on the top in order to sit on it, it’s a bit uncomfortable otherwise. I used a sack truck to move the box to where I wanted to build it, but in fact it is not really heavy. I may buy another one as I still have a lot of logs to tidy up! It did need quite a lot to fill it.

Ideal

All these baskets were great.. Keen diyer no problem to sort assembly..The twizzle sticks I call em to join panels are handy idea - on a down note they un-twizzle themselves when arranging insitu🤔.. Not as I wish to use but handy way to stop this use zip-ties! I found some stainless steel ones for on show side to use.. Not filled as of yet.. Could do with more internal hook bars in my opinion - 1 for each @1m tall🤔will that stop bulging baskets?

Some simple clear instructions would be useful .. I have one piece leftover and can’t fathom why ! One out of 18 assembled as a test .. easy really

Instructions are a bit basic, but even so it is very easy to assemble.I would advise assembly in situ as it is difficult to move around once assembled due to the spiral ties slipping.Great product though.

Cracking

a few bits were missing in the first parcel i received but this was quickly been rectified. its a good product and will look great once its filled up. They are exactly as described so i am happy with them.

Easy to use care needed when filling as not too sturdy but when filled absolutely excellent

Robusto e capiente. Semplice ed ingegnoso sistema di aggancio pareti (da fissare). Montaggio intuitivo, ma che richiede attenzione e l'uso di guanti da lavoro.

As advertised

Super

Baskets are easy to work with and go together quickly. I bought them to hold rocks. They did bow some due to the weight that I put in them. Once completed they are attractive. The spirals are a wonderful product and hol them together very well
