Moderately Comprehensive Review (black/copper Ltd edition)
For reference, I got the limited edition black/copper Accentums. Came as advertised in a very nice box (which I'm keeping). Nothing was over the top, and the instructions are to the point & digestible. The audio quality is something of dreams to say the least; not to mention at my lowest volume, I can listen to all my songs comfortably with no details in the audio lost. The only downside is the ANC or Transparency modes always being on with the only options being to toggle between the two. Switching between either mode is seamless, and they work very well for the price range, but the inability to toggle them off completely is what seems to tank the already capable battery. - great sound quality - decent battery (just turn them off when not in use if you don't wanna charge them every 3 days) - super portable (neck wearing is a little iffy tho) - nice colors, I like them; that's why I got this one - very comfortable fit They're now my daily drivers 😌👍

Worth every penny
Anybody that owns these probably knows what I'm getting ready to say. I was looking for headphones and I was already aware that there is a difference between low quality middle quality and high quality. I had always heard the name Sennheiser and how they were a higher quality headphone but the price always seem out of reach. I bought these because I want to replace an old pair that I had that I had worn out in the pad had begun to show. So far I can say the padding that they have is excellent it is a soft leather with a deep beige color. I receive good sound good reception. I love the size and they connect really easy. The only downside I would say is when I purchase these they did not come with a carrying Sack or carrying case. I feel like something of this value I should be able to put up in something to maintain it. Functionality wise these are very ergonomic the design allows you to move the headphone 180 degrees while the earphone itself slides relatively easy up inside of the arch itself. Their shows that there was some intellect and Engineering regarding these. The only other thing that I can say would be a knock on these is if you don't wear them for a while they automatically cut off and you don't know when that will be. The other thing is that when I cut them on it seems to take quite a second but it's well worth it which is why I'm still giving this five stars. The sound quality and base that I get Rivals it along with other high quality headphones such as Bose

plasticy but impressive sound for the price
Cheapish feel but for the price, it's a good deal. The audio sound and noise cancelling are great -- comparable to the $400+ Apple Airpod Pro Max they are replacing (which only lasted 5 years, I expect $300 to fix) -- at least as far as I can tell (I'm a casual listener, not an audiophile). I just feel like the plastic headband might break after repeated use (maybe it'll be okay, this is just an impression). The ear pads are pleather, not cloth, so a bit sweaty. Fit is good, comfort is good. For ~$100, this is an impressive headset with great sound that I won't be sad if I drop it or it gets stolen. Recommended as great value choice.

Comfortable mid-tier multi feature headphones
These are a good, mid-tier, Bluetooth, ANC headphone. In this category, they are Sennheiser's mid-hundred dollar offering. I use mine on airplanes and occasionally while I am working around the house so I can't say if they are audiophile quality, the sound is good for me and better than earbuds in my opinion. I like the fact that they surround the ear rather than pressing on it, I find that better for the ANC and long term wear. (I have had head phones with smaller ear cups that pressed on my ears painfully.) Being mid-tier they don't come with a case. I found a Ginsco case on here that is about 2" deep and works really well.

Very sleek and fun.
Truly excellent sound quality. And overall just a great thing for a musician to have.

Abysmal Durability
I am on my second pair headphones and it broke in under a month. The sound quality is good, and the noise suppression is good, combing that with good battery life and quick charge time makes the Accentum a good pair of headphones. However all of this is void when the speakers can break in under a month of use, producing a infuriating droning or light breeze sound through the left ear. Apparently this is a common problem amongst noise cancelling Sennheisers. For the steep price of the Accentum I very much do not recommend buying them, perhaps the other Sennheiser headphones are more reliable but I am not willing to spend more hundreds to find out.

Good sound quality but a few majorly annoying design flaws
I bought these headphones as replacement for my older Bose headphones about a year and a half ago. I can say the sound quality is pretty great, and I think the noise cancelling works really well. But otherwise, these headphones have a lot of little annoying problems that cause issues for me regularly. For one, the simple act of turning the headphones off and on is such a trial. With the Bose headphones, there was a switch on the side that you could flip on and off easily without having to put the headphones on. With these headphones there is no possible way to tell if you accidentally left your headphones on until you try to play a youtube video and they're stealing the audio from the other room. Then, when you go to turn them off you have to put your ear to the headphone or else you can't tell if they've actually turned off. Hold the button too long and they try bluetooth pairing and you've lost another minute trying to figure out how to get them out of that mode to turn them off. Overall, just a really crappy design that could have been made so much simpler. The other annoying feature is poor connectivity. I had so much trouble connecting these headphones to my laptop that I don't even bother trying to pair them anymore because I know it will fail no matter what I do. My Bose headphones would easily be connected to my laptop and my phone at the same time with no issue at all, but these headphones struggle to do even the basic form of that task. On top of that, if the headphones are connected but you're on a phone call they will REGULARLY try to steal your phone call. And then of course it's impossible to turn them off without taking a full minute away from your phone call to find the headphones and put your ear up to them to make sure they've properly turned off. My summary is that these headphones work well for sound but they are so annoying that I'm already considering replacing them to go back to Bose after only a year and a half. It just feels like simple design operations were ignored for no reason at all, and I will probably never be buying Sennheisers again for that reason.

Perfect Except for the Volume
After using these headphones almost everyday since November of 2025 I have fallen in love. The sound quality is lovely and the free Sennheiser plus app offers many different settings for listeners to customize their listening experience. I also loved the soft cream color that I ended up getting. The only complaint I have is that the volume cannot be adjusted to be lower on a phone or laptop. The lowest volume it can be used at is as low as a phone’s 30% volume before disconnecting any volume. This is just a preference for me though. The sound transparency vs the sound canceling is also very cool. The sound canceling setting sounds like rain droplets all dropping in the background. The top head cushion is made from a soft almost suede feeling rubber layer that has added harder cushioning inside this thin rubber layer. Also if you like a softer cushioning at the top then this may not be for you because it is harder. The ear cushions though create a proper all around ear seal that fit comfortably arround your ear. And the side adjustments move really smoothly to adjust to your head shape as you put them on. Lastly the ears move to remain flat or to fit on the sides of your head. I tell you these are really good! I bought a second in black.

Surprisingly very good audio quality/clarity at this price range, missing 3.5mm jack and waterproof
Very good audio quality at this price range, clarity is comparable to HD598, but much less sound stage due to the closed back design. I tried many other bluetooths headphone in this price range (such as Anker and JBL), but none of them produced the clarity I needed for wireless audio monitoring on vocal and accoustic instruments at limited budget. I prefer this design with physical button rather than the plus version with touch control, and the noise isolation is very good even with ANC turned off (note that you need the latest firmware to have ANC off option). However, the closed back design means the ear could get hot, and the headphone isn't designed for waterproof, so it isn't good for sport. Pros: - Closed back design, good audio isolation even with ANC turned off, wearer will not hear other noises, and friendly for public transport. - Audio clarity and sound profile is not affected by ANC unlike other cheap brands, headphone is very usable even with ANC is disabled - Perfect for audio monitoring with details and good latency, no noticeable delay - Physical buttons for volume and pause/play - Multipoint support that let you can connect and listen to two sound sources via bluetooth simultaneously, can pair with many devices, but only two sources for multipoint - Have bass boost options, and 5 other equalizer, all of them very usable with minimal audio distortion (distortion is a problem for other cheap brands). - Good battery life, I never had to charge to more than 90% (which help increase battery life) and it will never drop below 60% when charged daily - Sound zones to use different sound settings for different location, I use this to enable anti-wind and ANC when using public transport - Can listen and charge at the same time Cons: - Closed back design, sound stage is lacking compared to expensive open back headphones - Not waterproof, ear can get hot and sweat could damage the headphone - Lacking 3.5mm jack so a different headphone is needed for wired application (not a problem since I already have a wired can at mixer) - No mixing for sound sources, it would be ideal if you can listen to both sources with mixing (ideally with options for volume control for each source) - Multipoint is only for two devices - Bass boost changed the sound profile in a way that reduced mid charity - the BT dongle that comes with the SE only support aptx-adaptive, but not aptx-hd, but this headphone is aptx-hd, not adaptive, making the BT dongle useless Overall very happy with this headphone at the greatly discounted price of $120. The Accentum plus has the 3.5mm jack but it is more expensive.
