Why does it take long for the wick to light up?

Its important that you soak the wicks in the wax you are using for your candle. Heat up wax and immerse the wicks completely until wax is soaked in wick for a clean steady burn for all your candles. I use coconut wax only, its healthier for the lungs and does not hurt air quality.
