love this thing
I LOVE my Instant pots. I have a larger one, but I cook too much for the two of us and a lot of food gets thrown away. I decided to try a smaller pot so reduce food waste. This thing has been great. It is so easy to use and safe. I know the history of pressure cookers and them having issues. I have never had that issue with any of mine. They have safety features now that make them much safer. You just have to follow their directions and suggestions for use. That being said, I have cooked a lot of stuff in mine and it has been fantastic. The food wasn't always fantastic but that was me, not the pot. The one thing that I will never cook on the stove top again is rice. I cannot cook rice on the stove, but this thing makes it super easy and turns out great every time. I also love that you can saute in this pot. I can brown my meat, deglaze, then add the rest of the ingredients and turn it on. It is so much faster than cooking on the stove, too. I actually don't have a stove, so this, the microwave, a slow cooker, and an air fryer is how we cook everything. It usually works pretty well. With YouTube and the All Recipes channel, I am learning how to cook things that we eat all the time and even add a few new ones. Even when we get a full kitchen with a stove, I will still use this thing regularly. I love how quickly I can have dinner ready and I don't have to stand over a stove for an hour doing it. Have I said how much I love this thing? I do still cook too much, but it's getting better because it simply won't fit in the pot.

I love the Rio 7.5 qt instant pot. I cook more and save more money
I hate to cook and oh boy I wish I would have gotten this instant pot years ago! I love it!!!! I have different ways of using it like for instant I watched YouTube videos to get tips. Use hot water from tea kettle. Or braise sauté in another pot use broth and the. Put it in instant pot it takes less time to go from on to cook than whe. ISI g cold water. I have use pressure cook and after finished and natural release or wait about 5 minutes and then open lid put noodles in and cover back up and the hot liquid cooked the noodles even though instant pot is off and unplugged. It also did the same thing for the rice. It didn’t work on potatoes and carrots though 🤣 I love the width of the bottom is wide.

Interface is easier to use than older models
Love this pot! I donated my older model (2016) 6qt Instant pot because the interface was just too confusing and I ended up stopping and starting it over and over because I couldn't figure out the correct settings. Just made me mad all the time. So this Rio is much easier to deal with! It's beautiful. I use it with the steamer rack to cook chicken breast and use a hand mixer to shred it right in the pot. So much quicker and easier (and less smelly) than poaching on the stovetop. So it's easier to keep the freezer stocked with containers of shredded chicken for soups, wraps, etc. The recipe potential for this pot is vast, but I cook for one, so I don't need a bunch of meals. It is perfect for cooking batches of chicken or beans or whatever you use frequently, and then freezing it. No confusion with the interface or the position of the steam release valve. The cooking pot is big, too. Rio is a much better model than the older pot I bought in 2016. I have a 3qt, also, that's a few years old.

Great appliance
’ve been using the Instant Pot 4 qt RIO Mini 7-in-1 Multi-Cooker for a few weeks now, and it’s become one of my favorite kitchen helpers — especially since I don’t always feel like firing up the stove. It’s small enough that it doesn’t take over my counter, but still big enough to make meals for one or two people or leftovers for lunch, which is perfect for my apartment size. The seven functions — like pressure cook, slow cook, sauté, steam, rice, yogurt, and keep warm — give me tons of flexibility, so I can make anything from soups and rice to yogurt or steamed veggies without juggling multiple pots. It cooks stuff quickly (way faster than my old slow cooker) and cleanup is easy because the pot and lid are dishwasher safe. The progress indicator on the front is a nice touch too since I can see where it is in the cooking cycle at a glance. It’s not perfect — the lack of a detachable power cord and fewer accessories out there can be annoying — but overall it’s very handy, user-friendly, and a great small-space multitasker that I reach for almost every day.

Perfect for quick side dishes
I love this little 4qt pressure cooker. It’s everything I expected and wanted. I have two slow cookers, an air fryer, a kitchen aid mixer, a coffee marker, and an espresso machine. So I sort of like small appliances, but I’m usually also hesitant to buy them unless they can really be used regularly. I use all these almost every week, sometimes two or three times. I made the ubiquitous Instant Pot Mac and cheese tonight and it turned out exactly like my regular staple recipe that my family loves. Only it was super easy, faster, and used only one pot. Instructions to get started were super simple and it felt very safe. I was worried there would be a learning curve but didn’t seem like it at all. I bought this smaller one because I don’t want huge small appliances like the 6 or 8-qt versions, and I wanted this specifically to help me make side dishes quickly. A lot of the main meals I see made in these don’t look that appealing but I love that I can make baked beans from scratch in about an hour and hard boil eggs in a large batch super quickly and easily. My husband was slightly worried because his experience was that things cooked in the Instant Pot need a lot of salt to taste good. He worked as a photographer in a famous test kitchen and would watch and sample the foods the cooks made. I used one tsp of salt and he said it didn’t need any more. We are sold.

I purchased the Instant Pot recently, and it has genuinely improved my daily cooking routine. The multi-function options are very well-designed — pressure cooking, sautéing, slow cooking, and steaming all work flawlessly. Rice, biryani, dal, soups, and even boiled vegetables are cooked perfectly with consistent results. The stainless-steel inner pot is sturdy and easy to clean, unlike non-stick pots that wear out quickly. I also appreciate the safety features: lid lock, pressure release valve, and auto temperature control. The appliance feels premium, user-friendly, and energy-efficient. Overall, the Instant Pot is a reliable, time-saving kitchen appliance, especially for busy households. Totally worth the purchase.

I love this electric pressure cooker. Read the instructions carefully on how to use properly to avoid steam burn. You have to be familiar of all the buttons to use when cooking base on what you want to cook. Just press one button no adjustment. For example, if you want to cook beans, just press one button that says chilli/beans it automatic set for 20 minutes, and so on. When the cooking time is done do not open the lid yet, you have to release the steam button on top of the lid to release the steam slowly, you have to use cooking gloves to avoid steam burn. Just be very careful. The steam button on top to release the steam will make noise like, frizzzzzzz you release that slowly with your hand with cooking gloves until you get the full all the way release down, then hands off, the steam will continue to release until there is none to release, then, wait for 5 minutes and try to open the lid. When you open the lid try to put your face and arm away for pre caution in case there is steam left and may get to your face or arm. Everything has to be handled carefully, then, you're fine. When cooking you have to keep the steam button close, from the manufacturer, it set to up, but it might be down you don't notice, just check first before you start pressing the cooking button. Must be up all the time until the cooking is done. Then, when the cooking is done, get a pair of cooking gloves and hold the small steam release button down slowly to release the steam, slowly down, do not release the button too fast to avoid steam burn. Has to release slowly. When you reach to a full down, then, hands off to avoid steam burn, the steam sounds ...frizzzzzz when it releasing. I recommend this item to customers to buy if they are looking for a good electric pressure cooker = 5/5 stars.
