The 8 footer, which is about 9'-6' with the fall and popper attached (as packaged). The whip seems like it's well made without any flaws that I can see. It doesn't crinkle inside like cheap costume whips. The leather seems well died and soft. It's a real whip and can bite you if you're not paying attention or just goofing around with it. She's got a loud pop and seems to be holding up well after a few days of us getting acquainted in the basement.. Can't wait to get it outside. It's basic simple dark brown with the knots where they should be and a nice solid handle. It's a great bullwhip for people who want to get back into cracking, or for beginners to see if it's something they'd like to learn without breaking the bank.

UPDATE - Amazon sent replacement whip - it came WITHOUT the extra 5 tails also. And it BROKE after just a couple of uses. So not a good quality overall, and not a good seller's description at all. Good product. False advertisement. The product works as expected. Quality seems to be good. The package does NOT include the extra 5 tails. Amazon was good with trying to make it right and send a replacement -- the second package came without the 5 extra tails.

So, it’s a whip, and I’ve used them before in the past. I have the 6 foot one and it makes a great snap, rang my ears a few times cause it is loud. This seems really great value and does exactly what I wanted it to do. Look good, and usable, after all, whips are fun, just don’t hurt yourself or someone else. No idea how long it will last but I’m also not going to use it for extended periods of time, and the feel of the whip seems like this will last me forever.

I was not happy with the whip! It broke in the first 2 times that it was used.
