its been over a year and 6 months since we bought this. have used it probably 3-4 times a week every single week. fit our kitchen aid stand mixes and it work easily 10x better then the one that comes from kitchen aid. we put it in the dishwasher after every use (rinsing off the meat of course) super easy to clean, super good quality, and cant be any easier to use. we have no fear of it breaking like the cheap plastic from kitch-aid.

Used this for grinding venison and pork for sausage. Packaged very well, easy to follow instructions... Easy to use and finished in half the time it usually takes me. The stainless steel was easy to clean and the included brush got it clean in all the crevices. Made of good quality and priced less than the plastic ones. Fit right on my KitchenAid with no problem. I'd recommend this one to anyone looking for a good meat grinder..

Purchased to use with KitchenAid Artisan Mini standing mixer for making Raw Cat food. It worked very well grinding up raw chicken with skin and raw bones. You do need to be patient and stop the grinder when it gets sinew or phone cartilage stuck. But stopping and starting, and ensuring that you alternate bone pieces and meat pieces resolves this. Easy to clean. I washed by hand (I don't own a dishwasher) and soaked all parts in Everclear grain alcohol before a final dry and repackaging. Everclear 190 proof disinfect better than bleach or hydrogen peroxide, and is food grade. My only "complaint" would be the auger is just hollow plastic. I would have preferred something solid and more sturdy. But I will look for an aftermarket auger. Overall I am very pleased with this item, the price was excellent and it's stainless steel So it will last me for years to come. Also, any seals or non-metal parts will get a light brush of vegetable oil just to ensure they don't dry out. Highly recommend.

Got this because it's stainless steel and I though that's a good thing: "It will last for ever!," I thought. Busy as always, it sat until now, and I finally got to use it - it was bought in January but only now managed to give it a try, 7 months later, so it's way over the return window. Well, it's unusable, so money thrown away! The grinding blades square opening are too small, so they don't fit the square shank of the grinding worm (and yes, I am putting the blades in in the right direction!) They just don't fit. On top of it, the sausage stuffing plate is also missing. I should know better by now, that buying anything Made in China is a big, *BIG* NO-NO! This is just another example of their garbage! If I could rate it minus 10 stars I would. Did I say this one would last forever because it's stainless steel? Yup! It will last for ever because it will never be used! ***GRIN!*** I do NOT recommend this product. My advice? Buy the KitchenAid original add-on even if it's more expensive and some parts are plastic --- at least you will be able to use it! Stay away from anything and everything Made in China. (I do wonder if it was my bad luck that this one is defective... but there are too many other reviews that complain about this product, so I will assume it's just poor quality, and/or poor quality control.)

Great for grinding deer meat. Works great, strong. Easy setup. Use it every winter for grinding.

As advertised. Well packaged well made and fit perfectly to the kitchen aid. Easy to use First time using it put 5lbs of beef brisket through the grinder and no issues. Great for making hamberger and sausages.
