We’ve been using the Buydeem steamer along with the extra double stack (sold and reviewed separately) for about a month without any problem. We really love everything about it; it really makes our lives much better by giving us so many more choices for daily meals. The quality is good from how everything is packaged to how the steamer is built and operated. It is designed like the Apple products in the electronics world; the appearance looks premium from top to bottom. It’s very easy to set up, and you can always fill in the water after you prepare all the food plates in the stack. You can tell how much water is needed from the sideview window with min and max water line. Unlike some other electrical pots with endless and confusing options and combinations, this steamer is very intuitive and simple to operate. The timer starts after the water is brought to boil, which is great. Take a look at the video posted along this review for a quick walkthrough. Overall it saves us so much time and opens up a whole new world for our every-day meals! Our favorite is steaming live fish with seasoned soy sauce- this steamer brings out the same dish that can easily costs $50 at a restaurant! The steamer also comes with two glass stew pots that are perfect for congees, swallow nest soups, or any other type of soup or stew. A couple of tips from using this steamer for a month; we use it almost every other day: 1. As cautioned by the instruction manual, do not try to lift the bottom water reservoir by holding the water inlets! 2. If you are used to the traditional steamer on stove (especially gas stove), do expect a few more minutes than you would have set with the traditional steamer. I just got my steamer today and couldn't wait to use it. I was interested to see the user manual because a few reviews said it was hard to understand, and it didn't make sense and that the recipe book wasn't useful for times and recipes. Based on my past experience with purchasing Buydeem products, I wasn't worried because every item I have received my orders from them, they came well packaged, with a very understandable manuals. Plus I know that all of the products I have from them are not only functional but beautiful too. This was no different. The steamer was packaged very well, it is so pretty in the mint green shade, and matches my kitchen. I reviewed the user manual and from what I read, I found it very easy to follow the set up instructions for 1st time use. As well as the boil point test. I also washed the other pieces to it before steaming my acorn squash. I used the steam time suggested for pumpkins and it turned out perfectly. Better then baking it. It took way less time to steam then to get it right baking it. Its also a perfect size and won't overtake your counter space. Also clean up was easy, I removed lid, wiped it down. Set it aside, removed the food, and I let the steamer base cool down. Unplugged the cord from the wall and base. Dumped water in the sick and turned the base upside down on a kitchen towel propped up to dry. That was it. Basically no mess. I didn't buy the steamer in hopes of a great recipe book, but because I know Buydeem sells, beautiful, functional, quality products. And if you need inspiration for recipes to make, because the ones in the manual are not your thing. Go visit Pintrest or Instagram for recipe, no shortage there. I am excited to try Artichokes, yogurt,, and more tasty veggie dishes. I also read you can make those tasty sweet steamed buns that you order at Asian restaurants. You can also cook meat in it, so I cant wait to find some great recipes! Overall great streamer, easy to navigate and steams very well. And pretty to look at!

It works great by now. The size is exactly what we need. My concern is how long it could work, hopefully years.
