Perfect for concerts and the cinema!
Like a lot of people here, I have mild tinnitus due to attending rock concerts frequently for a good fifteen years as well as being an active musician. This had left me with some not too serious but otherwise annoying issues. With a string of heavy metal shows coming up, I thought some adequate protection is needed. First thing I'll say about these Senner MusicPro ear plugs is that they're really comfortable. My last attempts at getting earplugs resulted in great sound but lacked the comfort that was required for a long duration of time. These Senner plugs not only fit perfectly but were soft enough that I did not notice them at all through an entire concert from The Rolling Stones. In fact, I only realised I had them in when I got an inch in my ear half way out of the arena. A big positive in my opinion. As for the sound, well I think they're perfect. These Senner's don't dull the sound as much as they simply clear it up. The Rolling Stones' show was horrifically loud and it was hard to hear half of the band over Keith Richards guitar. However, as soon as put these ear plugs in I could hear everything as clear as day. I also used them when I went to see Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom in an IMAX cinema and again, it worked wonders. I love films in IMAX but I find they tend to have the volume at uncomfortably high levels. These ear plugs kept the volume at a comfortable whilst maintaining all the audio frequencies that you'd want to hear whilst watching a film in the theatre. Personally speaking, I think there should be a big campaign to get musicians and concert goers to wear ear plugs like these MusicPro's. With the volume levels increasing by the tour, it is starting to cause damage to a lot of people and folks are literally embarrassed to be seen wearing ear protection. I say your health should be the biggest priority and if you feel the same, these babies are absolutely worth the asking price. Note: I have since used these earplugs at Hollywood Vampires in Glasgow's Hydro. The show was horrifically loud and they did a magnificent job of making the music as clear as day. They were comfortable throughout and had no ringing or irritation after the show. Perfect.

Comfortable, discreet, effective. Highly recommend
I bought these to use at clubs and gigs, as I wanted a replacement for the disposable foam earplugs I'd been using, which make everything so muffly and cause so much plastic waste. These are great! They are really comfortable in the ear, and block out all the heavy bass, while still leaving the music clear - even when stood near the huge speakers near the DJ. It's also quite easy to chat to people with them in, although they're so easy to put in and take out repeatedly. I can wear them all night with no problems or discomfort (which is impressive for me, because normally earphones start to hurt my ears after a couple hours). The little keyring case comes in really handy too - I keep it on my keys so I never forget to bring them with me, and then I attach it to my belt loop once I'm inside the venue, so I always have somewhere to store the earplugs when I go out into the smoking area to talk. Also, as someone who gets a little conscious of looking nerdy by wearing earplugs to a club (the social pressure! haha), an added bonus for me is how subtle these look in the ear. I got the colourless filter, and you really can't see them once they're in (inside a club anyway - I've never tried outside in the daytime). The first time I wore them, my friend kept touching my ear to make sure they were still there because she couldn't see them at all! Excellent quality, and excellent value (although who can put a price on not getting tinnitus?). Highly, highly recommend.

Took to a metal concert. Overall Impressed!
Yep, it pretty much does exactly what earplugs do. Sound quality was pretty decent id say. It allowed me to enjoy myself without the notorious ringing in ones ears that follows after a gig. Comfort wise was a mixed bag, i did occasionally have to adjust them (headbanging) But for the majority of the night I pretty much forgot I was wearing them. I was a little disheartend at the size of the product when it arrived, For nearly £20 on some bits of rubber and admitedly a nice sleek container the size of a kinder egg pod you'd be expecting something maybe a little more glamourous? However, all of it feels nice and high quality. Im sure ill use these for many more gigs to come, but im skeptical if theyre designed to last longer than a couple years of use.. I hope they do. Look after them as best you can and hopefully you wont have to buy more later.

Perfect for so many situations!
I originally bought a set of these a few years ago, in an effort to protect my hearing going to clubs and concerts. The first thing that sticks out about these is the packaging - being able to throw these on my keys or into a bag is incredibly handy. They are small enough to keep them on you everywhere you go. The plugs come in sanitary packing inside the case, which I appreciate. For this version, I also appreciate that there are 2 sizes of plug in the package for a better fit (I used the smaller size). The sound dampening mesh needs to be moved between plug casings if you want to use the different sized tips - this was fairly easy with a bit of patience. Comfort-wise, my original pair were slightly bigger, and this smaller size is perfect. I used them for about 8 hours of almost continuous wear and didn’t experience any pain/pressure. I bought the second pair as I left my first set at home when I travelled to a concert - they arrived in less than 24 hours. These plugs have the effect of turning the volume down on the world, essentially. I still got all the high and low ends of the sound at the concert, but the best part about these is that you don’t wake up the next day with ringing ears. I would also really recommend these for anybody with sensory issues related to sound - they lower my stress levels a lot in high-noise environments, but I can still easily hold conversations with the people I’m with. These are easy to put in, stay in, and are comfortable. They’re also easy to remove, and pretty unnoticeable if you don’t want to wear very conspicuous earplugs. I don’t leave the house without them now and would absolutely replace these in the morning if I were to lose them. Value for money and perform perfectly for my needs, easy recommendation!

Super little hearing protectors
I bought these hearing protectors for concerts and when playing my gongs at larger venues. I suffer from a small amount of hearing loss and tinnitus so protecting my hearing from further damage is paramount. I've worn these Senner ear plugs a number of times and they worked perfectly. Unlike many other products I've tried, these ear plugs effectively reduce the nose decibel levels with little to no loss of clarity which makes them perfect for what I need! They are well made and being transparent are unobtrusive. The longest I've worn them is for nearly three hours. I soon forget that I'm wearing them and found them to be very comfortable. They come in two sizes with a handy robust metal container. Personally, I found the container a little bulky for carrying around and instead I use another smaller case to keep them safe when I'm out and about. I have friends who use the Senner case without a problem. As with any hearing protection, it is important to find something that suits your needs and which fits neatly into the shape of your ear. The other key point it to ensure that they are fitted correctly. I know that this sounds (no pun intended!) like common sense but I know from working in noisy environments how many people fail to get this right and then blame the hearing protection. I like the fact that Senner believe 100% in their product and offer an unconditional money back guarantee. My personal experience with these ear pugs has been wholly positive and I highly recommend them.

Seemed to dull the experience
I bought two pairs of these for my partner and myself. We go to a lot of gigs and we were beginning to find that our ears were ringing a lot afterwards and worried about our hearing long term so decided to make a sensible purchase to help provide some protection. I was excited to give these a try, luckily a couple of days after they arrived we went to see Kings of Leon in Leeds. I used them during the support act and found that they were incredibly easy to use, I had no issues putting the earplugs in at all, they come with two sizes with removable filters so you can easily swap. They also fit well in the ear and come with a convenient little carry case which is just the right size so that it is not a nuisance when the case it attached to your key ring. With respect to the appearance of the item, the earbuds are nice and with them being clear they don't stick out massively when wearing them. I got the clear filter and earbuds and my partner got the green filter with clear earbuds so there are options for more stylish colourful earbuds but i preferred the clear more inconspicuous option. These are certainly a good few positives of this item. Negatives wise, I think these do dull the experience, arguably too much. I found that while listening to the support act, I could hear the bass at a dulled level which was great, they took away some ambient noise which was also great, but I did feel a bit deaf with them in, I couldn't hear my partner right next to me when she was talking, which was annoying and I found myself taking them out constantly to talk when we wanted to share thoughts about the bands. Also I found that it did cut out the quieter vocals and in some case took the edge off the guitar which made the gig feel different and muffled. I actually resorted to taking them out for the main act. I did try putting the earplugs all the way into my ear and half in. I found that half in worked better and took the edge off the music without damping the sound quality, but I'm not sure this is how you are supposed to use them. I was saddened by this as I really hoped that these would do the trick. I am exploring possibly getting some Loop earbuds instead as they do seem better from customer testimonials and reviews Hope this helps anyone thinking of getting a pair.

Earplugs are great, but the tall cylindrical case renders them useless - plugs get jammed inside
TL;DR: Plugs are great, but the case is a disaster. DO NOT BUY THE TALL CYLIDRICAL CASE OPTION. They will get jammed in. They should be in a hinged case like airpods. I'm giving one star overall because they failed to protect me and became irreparably damaged. I've had a pair of these for a while and used them on 5-10 occasions, sometimes in very loud club / gig environments. They were excellent for sound protection. On one occasion the sound was so loud it thoroughly shook your body, but afterwards my ears were absolutely fine. Also the audio clarity was good. Perhaps some other product may be better, but these seemed fine and gave the protection. The reason I'm giving it the lowest rating is that they are a safety product, and when I needed them, they failed me. I had noticed they were hard to get out of the case. I should have realised and used a plastic bag instead, but the last time I went to use them I absolutely could not get them out of the metal tube case - no amount of shaking the tube or trying to get hold of them with my fingers or a straw (all i had to hand!) would do it. The reason is that they contain a solid interior as well as a flexible rubber surround. These jam in the container. Because of this, I was left with no protection at a loud gig. Finally when I removed them with a tool, the outer flange was ripped (see pic), and thus they are no longer usable. I am loathed to but another pair the same especially as there is no option to get the wider diameter case with clear earplugs (why!!?).

Perfect for rock concerts
Tested these yesterday at an At the Drive-In concert, and they worked wonderfully. I honestly can't go to concerts without earplugs, as my ears are very sensitive and even just a few seconds of being exposed to the high level of noise hurts both my ears and my head. I am very careful about my hearing as I love music and would hate to develop hearing issues. To my surprise, I didn't notice anyone else at the concert wearing earplugs. I, on the other hand, was very satisfied as these earplugs did exactly what the description says - lowered the loudness, while maintaining the same balance of sound quality, which cheap foam earplugs certainly don't do (I'm a bit of an audiophile, not to ridiculous lengths as some people are, but I do care about sound quality). I could hear all instruments well, the bass was not overpowering, the highs weren't muddled and the sound overall was full, not tinny. After the concert, there was no ringing in my ears, which felt great! One negative I'd have to mention was my fault - I should have chosen smaller earplugs, as these hurt the inside of my ears quite a bit due to being too large. I am a rather short woman (160cm), but foam earplugs used to fall out of my ears due to being small, so I thought these would fit better. However, the day after the concert my ears surprisingly didn't hurt in any way despite wearing the earplugs with slight discomfort for almost four hours, so I really have nothing to complain about. The metal key chain is handy too, and very sturdy. While inserting, you have to be careful to have the earplugs all the way in correctly. They don't fall out even when yawning or singing, and conversation can be heard well with them, while they block out the background "buzz" of the concert venue. Overall, it's a great product. If you're not protecting your hearing from the ridiculous level of noise at concerts, do yourself a favor and buy these.
