I am exactly a 42 inch belly. should i get the on that fits 45 inch belly or the xlarge that fits the 55 inch belly?

I would get the larger one. I didn't even measure mine before ordering but erred on the larger size because I knew I would be close. I just measured and am right at 45. With the larger one, you can always overlap without any issues. If you are losing weight or the 42" is the large end for you, you could consider the smaller one. But, the larger one will still work.

This belly band holster will it fold up or move?

It does not fold up its good fit. Had my suit on it didn’t show, it does not move!

Is it really snug-fitting and won't make me feel awkward in public settings?

Will a glock 43 with a trl6 fit?
