This product was used to reduce the heat and glare from two Velux roof windows - the roof has been converted to a bedroom for our grandsons in France. Immediately the blinds were installed, you could feel the difference. I am so pleased that as soon as we return home, I shall order four more. The quality of the product is exceptional and my husband had no difficulty affixing them. Having seen the quality of the blinds, we shall also measure up for the anti- mosquito frames. Genuinely delighted with this product and can thoroughly recommend them.

We live in a two storey townhouse and have five Velux windows on our top floor. In the summer months, the top floor becomes unbearably hot and we had to invest in a portable air conditioner just to cope. These Velux anti-heat blinds are absolutely brilliant in helping keep temperatures down. They cite that they block up to 80% of the suns rays and can cool a room down by up to 4 degrees and I’d say that sounds legitimate from my experience. It’s been much more comfortable in our house since we installed these blinds and we can still see outside perfectly fine too. They can be retrofitted to any Velux blind as they fit into pre-existing slots or use existing screws. Brilliant product, especially for the price.

Took two non DIY people about 30 mins to install the first one and 15mins to do the second. It’s definitely reduced the heat coming into the loft by a few degrees

I'm surprised more people don't have these, with the recent heatwave in the UK I got one for our south facing MK06 loft window to try and minimize the heat coming in (took 5 weeks to arrive due to demand). It's worked well so far and cuts out a large amount of heat whilst letting in decent amount of light. Fitting was relatively straightforward and there's a helpful youtube video which is just 2 mins long showing how to fit. The only reason I take off a star is for the clips that are at the bottom of the window which you attach the blind to, rather surprisingly these are plastic and they felt a touch brittle, I have concerns how these will stand up to the elements with extremes of temperature and UV to content with, particularly since they are black plastic and will absorb more heat.

These blinds are easy to install, they work very well on keeping the heat out during sunny days. In the winter they can be un-hooked and rooled up while still beigin fitted to the window so they can be re used next summer.

Fits our GGL C04 velux window well and blocks some light without being too dark.

Ordered this blind as the summer months have always been far hotter in the loft bedroom. Arrived quickly and was installed in less than 10 minutes. The difference is noticeable. the window used to act like a heater in the mid-day sun you could feel the heat radiating from it. now its cool to the touch and that reflects in the temperature of the room.

Had a dormer built at the start of year with 2 south facing velux windows. On the couple of days this year it wasn't raining, the internal temperature went over 31. Was way too hot. Figured due to all the insulation, the heat comes through velux windows and the insulation helps it stays hot which is hard to cool. These shades stop the heat build up in the first place. Now need not raining day to test.

Sorprendente. Realmente cambia la temperatura de la habitación, que en mi caso es una buhardilla con 2 velux expuesta a muchas horas de sol. Deja pasar una agradable cantidad de luz, reduciendo la luz cegadora que entraba antes y reduciendo notablemente la temperatura del cuarto. Parace imposible, pero el efecto es inmediato y es muy facil de instalar (10 min por ventana).

Excellent, extrêmement efficace. Installé 1 jour avant le début de la canicule, j'ai perdu 3° dans ma mezzanine, et 2 en bas du coup puisque cela ne se répercute plus. Installation facile quand on a compris l'astuce (c'est-à-dire que tout est inversé, ne pas être dyslexique !). Rendu super avec même si occultant, une lumière douce ambiante qui évite d'être dans le noir total. La cerise sur le gâteau : je l'attendais fin de semaine et il est arrivé avant le we soit 7 jours d'avance. Je recommande vraiment et donc excellent rapport qualité prix.

Der Einbau der Hitzeschutz - Markise ist einfach und selbsterklärend. Man muss nur die richtigen Teile lt. Größenangaben auswählen und nach 10 Minuten ist alles erledigt. Die Markise und die Haltekrallen machen einen sehr wertigen und stabilen Eindruck. Eine hitzeabweisende Wirkung ist sofort festzustellen.
