Quite probably, but why use an expensive lubricant when a drop of Three-in-One oil or a tiny squirt of WD40 will do the job perfectly? The risk of food contamination from a fridge door hinge doesn't come into the equation at all.

Would this be suitable to lubricate the pull off lid of a tin used for sugar and/or flour?

If the container is metallic you can use a drop of cooking oil. Silicon lubricant is used for plastics because oil based lubricants would degrade them. Eitherway, this lubricant would work fine

Can I use this to seal a waterproof watch O-ring/gasket? Thanks

I doubt it as it a food grade one for coffee machines specifically to lubricate moving parts. You probably need to get the proper o ring as if this stuff gets into the watch it will probably cause some serious issues.

Ich weiß nicht, ob es nur eine Fehlproduktion war, aber bereits bei der ersten Benutzung musste man schon kräftig nach vorne drücken um etwas heraus zu bekommen. Die Tube war versiegelt.
