What differences are there between the Lone Peak 6 and 7?

Different lacing system on the 7, also a bit narrower and color choices are different. I like them both, prefer the 6.

Why dont they have a Black and Grey like the LS5? These colors are UGLY

The black/grey aren't as ugly in person as I thought in the pictures in my opinion theyve grown on me but I agree, they're all very ugly. Same for the superior 6's unfortunately and they're my 2 favorite models

Do i order what my feet measure or add extra room for toes? Is there a width measuring chart as well?

I ordered my normal shoe size. My normal is a "10 wide or 10EE" If you don't normally wear a "wide" (EE or EEE+) then I would suggest you order the regular width. They have a very generous toe-box and plenty of room for your toes to move.

Why is there velcro on the heel?

I believe this is for fastening a 'gaiter' (aka spatz) for wet conditions: https://www.amazon.com/Altra-Trail-Gaiter-Orange-Black/dp/B07N95YNYW/ref=sr_1_6?crid=2OKRPM3QZ4D4W&keywords=altra%2Bgator%2Bshoe%2Bcover&qid=1693672461&sprefix=altra%2Bgator%2Bshoe%2Bcover%2Caps%2C108&sr=8-6&th=1&psc=1
