An excellent camera for the price and easy to set up

Compré esta cámara como actualización a la SV305 que ya tenía y que actualmente la uso para cámara guía. Aunque el sensor de la sv305C se supone que es más actualizado, no detecto diferencia con la cámara de versión anterior. Hubiera sido una excelente actualización el cambiar de USB2 a USB3. La cámara funciona muy bien y da buenos resultados con planetas, luna y sol (en compañía de una diagonal Herschel y sus respectivos filtros)

Depending on your setup this is a great camera if you have the proper setup it can offer decent quality pics with the the right scope and operating systems

Amazing camera! I started with the sv105 and quickly upgraded to this one. What a difference. The sensor is really small but for small targets like planets it's perfect. Can even do some DSO photos pretty well. I'm very new to astrophotography so this can definitely be edited better.

Works great until it heats up then the image is quite bad. I can only get 20 minutes of images. This is in AZ USA so it’s 90 degrees outside at night. They need to have a cooled version of this for $250. I’d buy 2.

The first time I used this camera was to view the 2024 Solar Eclipse from Central Ohio. You can see how good it is. This camera in conjunction with the Sharpcap software is amazing. I'm very amateur at this, it didn't take me long to figure out. Based on the magnification I'm getting, it's approximately a 5mm aperture, so my 750mm Newtonian gives me a 150x view. A perfect and inexpensive starter camera. I love not having to stoop and squint at the eyepiece anymore.
