HOWARD Clean-A-Finish Wood Cleaner and Upholstery Cleaner for Furniture, Carpet Cleaning, Pour Bottle, 16 oz

I purchased this product to clean an antique bed frame. It worked well, surprisingly removing some old marks and paint speckles. The smell is light and not offensive. The label said it will clean leather and carpet although I haven't tried it on carpet yet. It did not leave a shine which I didn't want because I was refinishing the bed frame after cleaning. I did try it on my husband's Big Green Egg table which is quite dirty from being in the weather. It actually removed most of the grime and left the wood ready for oiling.

I have brought an abused table back to life with this. Very effective gentle cleaner for vintage , antique and newly-turned wood. Even works on many many years of built up grime (with elbow grease, of course. Doesn’t build up. I no longer needPledge type products. AND, it is fantastic at cleaning fruit and chocolate stains off car seats! Was recommended to me by a professional reupholsterer.

I used this Clean A Finish as my initial step to prepare my furniture for the Restore A Finish product. Very easy application. Wiped on with a clean cloth and wiped off with a second clean cloth. I used cut terry cloth wash cloths or microfiber cloths. Great product, I’ll always keep it on hand.

I thought I ordered the spray bottle but did not receive that. Perhaps my error. Cleans ok. May need to use it again as the table is very old and needs some tlc

Super, Great Product! My second order of this product. I have only used in my cabinets and some of my furniture that has water marks. It cleans wood beautifully. My cabinets are old. So it requires some elbow grease. Never had any other product clean wood like Howard’s!

I had a family heirloom China hutch that was passed down to me through a household of a SUPER heavy smoker. The smell of old, stale cigarette smoke always bothered my husband, but I was really scared to try to clean the piece for fear of damaging it. Using this gave me the confidence to try. I had to find a balance between using some soap & water to get the initial layer of grime (with not too much scrubbing or it started to affect the finish) and following up with this product to get a really good clean. I DEFINITELY recommend ending with a treatment of Howard Feed N Wax. It really restores the shine, nourishes the wood, and protects the finish. Now my beloved heirloom is more beautiful than I've ever seen it! The picture really doesn't do it justice. (The rag is just one of many for an example of what it helped pull off this piece of furniture.)

I bought this to clean and polish my furniture. I like how easy it is to use and it works! The smell is not very strong so it doesn't bother my allergies. I am only giving a 3 start because the spray bottle doesn't work.

Really liked the way this product cleaned and protected. Will buy again.

You can't go wrong with Howard's products, they simply do what they say they will do. Excellent quality, nice aroma, easy to use and efficient.
