I have had this Phantom 2200 in my 2005 Corolla for nearly a decade, and it is still kicking. The 4-channel setup is incredibly versatile; I’ve used it to bridge subwoofers and drive high-end door speakers with crystal clear output. It runs a bit warm, but as long as you give it a little breathing room, it’s a total workhorse. If you want a durable, powerful amp that actually lasts, this BOSS Phantom series is an absolute legend for the price.

I put it in my freightliner and it sounds great

Of course I don't believe the amp puts out the high wattage it claims but it does get loud enough for me.But more importantly than just loud I needed an amp that sounded clean.I had bought a kicker amp at walmart and noticed at high volumes it just sounded harsh.So I made the kicker amp a sub only amp which worked out great and used this amp to power 4 6.5 speakers.I had thought maybe my speakers were causing the harshness but it was the kicker amp.I now enjoy cranking up the radio loud.It sounds clear and have had no issues.
