Easy to use it does the job

The stiffness and quality of this tool are surprisingly good. The tap down takes the same tips as the rod, so you get a lot of options for your repair. The tips are serviceable -- just nylon and metal, no rubber or PVC, but it's an inexpensive tool so that's too be expected. My only complaint is the nylon heads do snap if put under too much pressure, and I wish it came with an extension piece for the rod, as some areas I'm trying to work on I can't hit because of the very open angle of the tool. PDR is quite a time consuming and meticulous skill, I'm enjoying using this tool and some home made accessories as a first step. Don't purchase if you think you'll be able to take care of dents easily — it really is a labor intensive skill.

This rod is just shy of a half inch thick. Forget about sliding it down a door panel or under the hood bracing. This might work for fender repair but as far as snaking inside panels, forget it.

Well I’ve tried several fix a dent tools in the past and this is the best option so far to get those dings out for ever. The tool is sturdy, stainless steel, and comes with all the accessories. Metal ss bits to smooth out dents and also comes with sturdy plastic bits too. It comes with a chain link and two s hooks for hanging it. It does the job the first time!! Invest in this option and you can repair big and small dents. Just last night in So Texas we had hail the size of quarters, half dollars and golf ball size hail so I was ready. Must buy!!
