TS-D12D2 – Powerful 12” Subwoofer, 2000 Watts Peak Power, Dual 2 Ohms Voice Coil for Deep Bass

Added this subwoofer to my wife’s 2015 RX350. Looks and sounds good. Great all round subwoofer. Get exceptional lows. It is mated to the Pioneer GM-DX871 1600 watt 1 channel. The amplifier sits happily at half gain.

Just installed so can't speak for durability. I'm also just breaking it in so I haven't tried to push it, but it sounds decent so far. Have it in a truck box that slides in behind the Tacoma's fold down rear seat. I had a ported sub box with a 12" MTX jack hammer sub sitting in the back seat and the Pioneer will not hit as hard as that, and I didn't expect it to. The Pioneer does it's job though and is much better compared to stock. The bass is clean as well with no distortion so far.

I bought this sub to replace a piece of crap Skar sub. This out performs it hands down. It has a much lower frequency response and a much higher power rating. I will definitely buy this again.

I am running a JL 500/1 mono 500w - And started clipping after 3rd day .. amp set to 30% - Speaker was in a ventilated box - got replacement and it died - when to check the speaker … cracked. Again pushing a 500/1 JL

Using this subwoofer in a small box about 0.5 cuft It produces bass that I would consider "precise" but really leaves a lot to be desired. My kicker comp 10 outperformed this in a general sense but this subwoofer does go slightly lower.

My factory Bose system has no hair. I started with a budget powered sub, that help but only at the very low range. Tapped that in factory rear line inputs. This sub increased range. Eventually changing Amp to better match the Pioneer's frequency response for even more sound quality.

I have bought a few subs in my time, a good quality sub is worth paying that little bit extra, I bought Vibe slicks previously, but they didn’t stand up, blown in less than a month. These beauty’s are awesome and I am still running them in, twinned with the biggest pioneer amp they are amazing. Worth every single penny, you won’t regret buying these, they are better than the steel domed with bass bullets that they are replacing (which were the biggest 12 inch pioneer subs at the time), and they died after 25yrs of hard work, if these last the same amount of time I will be more than happy!

I was unsure of the shallow mounted subs as I have never used them but this Pioneer sounds great. Paired it with a Boss audio amp.

Echt Top Sound und auch Druck klingt echt gut der Kleine.

Paired with a Pioneer mono 2 channel amp is more than enough for what I need!. Bone shaking!
