Surprisingly good!
I had never used the Baraka brand of spices before, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with this 7 spice (baharat) mix. I read a review that said the allspice was lacking, but I can definitely smell the delicious aroma of allspice in this mix, along with the cinnamon, cloves, ginger and cardamom. I've used it on baked zucchini, cauliflower & carrots, as well as some chicken dishes and fish. It adds a distinct flavor - savory with a nice bit of sweetness - to all of these dishes. It's a break from the usual spices in my cupboard and 7.5 oz of it also means I've got enough to last me a while. Definitely a good buy!

Lovely fragrance!
After reading about Lebanese 7 spice, I ordered this and it is delightful on turkey tenders. I imagine it would also be wonderful in a stew (beans or meat). To me, it smells really nice, definitely the scent of cloves came through as soon as I opened it. I filled an old spice jar I had & shared the rest with 2 friends because there is a LOT in this container, would be enough for a small cafe at a low price point.
