Fantastic kit used as a introduction to lock picking, quite an eye opener into how locks work, quite frightening to see how easily some locks are unopened without a key.

Good fun product, and great way to spend a few hours.

I bought this set to have a go at lock picking. Unfortunately I'm returning it within 24 hours of purchase because the practice locks are no challenge what so ever. There is so much slop in their mechanisms that they practically unlock themselves. The only one that offered and sort of a challenge was the lock with the X shaped key. The picks themselves worked as expected but their plastic handles are cheap and uncomfortable to use. I felt it best to return the set for a refund and invest in some higher quality equipment. Depending on your intentions, this set may be good enough for your needs but they certainly did not meet mine.

Bought this for something to play with whilst I was poorly and it's a good bit of fun. The included clear padlocks are a great way to learn, if a little easy compared to some spare padlocks I had lying around. For the price the tools are decent quality and relatively sturdy. The "credit card concealed tools" are less sturdy and the plastic "credit card" is horrendous, but it's just a gimmick cause the only people who should be taking picks out of their houses are pros who aren't going to be buying this kit.
