What an exceptionally useful flashlight this has been for me! I ordered one since I liked the compact size, included a red light, was from a reputable company, and all for a very affordable price.I never could have imagined just how often I would be using this light when I ordered one. I keep it clipped to my belt loop just above my pocket. The very compact size was smaller than I had imagined it would be, but it is so small and so light I can never even tell that I have it clipped to me! It has become another one of those things that I find myself always checking to be sure it is still there when leaving somewhere along with my wallet, phone, keys, and the like. I have found that several times a day now I am reaching for it to help light up something that I am doing. Simply always having it on me means that I am able to put it to use for things that perhaps I would not have felt the need to take the time to go and grab a flashlight, but since it is always close to hand I don't even need to attempt to go without one or make the extra effort to go hunt one down.I have been using this excellent light for well over a year at this point. I am constantly considering how pleased I am for deciding to buy one and even wish I had done so much sooner! It is simply to use and the three levels of the main light have met my needs very well and I can only think of one time where I found myself wishing I had a much brighter flashlight. I was in the middle of a dark woods in the middle of the night and even though I could navigate my way just fine with the Olight clip I just would have preferred to have had a brighter light at the time. The secondary red light has been invaluable to me. I have always felt an additional red light is a must have feature when shopping for a flashlight which really helped push this light from a want to a need in my mind. I have found that the red light is just about perfect for my needs, not excessively bright, but the right amount for me to avoid obstacles when walking through a dark room, but not wanting to disturb anyone sleeping or draw unwanted attention to what I am doing in all kinds of different situations. The clip has held up very well with no sighs of wearing out. I use it much more than I thought I would and am constantly clipping it to something that makes me so pleased with myself that I thought to use it in that way.The battery has been plenty enough for me to get maybe two or three days of my regular use from it before needing to be recharged. Recharging is extremely quick and I am able to get a full charge in the short amount of time I have at times before heading back out and about. Now anytime I end up using it for a long time I am still able to get a full day's use from it. I have only had it die on me before I was finished using it just a couple of times thankfully. These were all occasions were it was in use for an excessive amount of time too so I was fully expecting it to die on me earlier than it actually did too so I can not complain about that at all. I was delighted to see that it had USB-C charging. Just about everything includes it now, but there was a time when most did not. I was easily turned into a USB-C acolyte after I first came across it and would purposely seek out usb-C charging on any new tech that I bought since then since I find the benefits to be a major upgrade from micro USB. I believe I have just one device that sees somewhat regular use that uses micro USB so I am very close to the day when I can stop keeping a cord on hand. I am sure I will still have one in my bag "just in case"!I believe the designers of the Olight Oclip really found the perfect ratio of size, weight, and battery size in my opinion. It lasts longer than I need it to and the small side and light weight make me forget I even have it on me which makes it the perfect addition to my daily carry essentials.I love it so much that as much as I like the additional features offered on the new pro model and whatever the even bigger one is called, I will happily go without having those since my original Olight Oclip is honestly the perfect package for me. I have little doubt a slightly larger and heavier version would not change very much in terms of awareness or carrying it, but I guess I of the belief that I have already found MY idea of EDC perfection so I don't have much need to try to improve upon it.Light output: 8/10Red light? 10/10Size: 10/10Weight: 10/10Battery size: 9/10Charging: 10/10Quality/Finish: 10/10Verdict: I can not live without this flashlight and will would replace one immediately if I were to ever lose it.

Perfect mechanic light! I am a hospital mechanic and I wear this light everyday. It clips onto my polo shirt and stays put. The clip is strong and has a rubber grip so it doesn’t slide off my shirt. The light is small and very bright for its size. It has 3 brightness setting. The ‘candlelight’ feature is great for reading and lasts for days without charging. The other settings are quite bright. There is a red light too and a slow blink red light. Great safety light for night activities. It is rugged and they claim waterproof (haven’t really tested that yet) but I am very happy with the size, battery charge life, ruggedness, style, and brightness. There is a pro version too which is bigger and has more features, but it’s also more $$$

I bought the OLIGHT Oclip Rechargeable EDC Flashlight thinking, “Cool, a tiny light I’ll probably lose in a week.”Well, joke’s on me—this thing is so bright it basically found me before I could lose it.First off, it’s small. Like, I’ve lost bigger crumbs small. It clips onto anything: your pocket, your hat, your backpack, your life choices. And yet somehow this miniature glow-goblin blasts out enough light to make me wonder if I accidentally turned on stadium lighting.I turned it on in my living room and my cat squinted at me like I’d just summoned daylight indoors. I clipped it to my hat while taking out the trash at night and suddenly the raccoons were shielding their eyes like paparazzi caught them doing something illegal. Honestly, I felt powerful.Rechargeable? Yup. Easy? Yup. Bright enough that I need to warn my neighbors before using it? Also yup.If you want a flashlight that is tiny, mighty, and slightly concerning in its ability to illuminate EVERYTHING, buy this. You may never need another flashlight again. Or sunglasses.

I walk my dogs at night and was looking for a product that would give them some light and make them visible to any oncoming traffic. I tried several clip-on lights that were advertised for walking or running and they were underwhelming. They added a bit of visibility to my dogs but didn't provide any meaningful light for them. I have bought OLIGHT products before so when I found this product I had a hunch that it was going to be perfect. These are very lightweight and the clip is very secure. I clip a light onto each of my dogs' harnesses and they stay on with no issue. Not only do they keep the dogs visible but they provide ample light for the dogs to see what's around them. They also have a magnetic back so they can be positioned and used as work lights, too. Battery life is surprisingly good for the size of the product. I charge mine every 2-3 days and that gets us through several walks. I've bought more than one of these lights and have had no issues. Everyone that sees them is amazed by the size and the brightness. I carry one with me all the time at work now, it's such a great tool.Bottom line, if you walk or run late at night or early in the morning this is the light that you need. They clip onto pockets, harnesses, or leashes and stay put. They are truly handsfree. My advice would be to buy more than one as you'll quickly find plenty of uses for them.

Crap shoot Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have many of olight products and have always been more than satisfied, but I totally got a lemon with this product. I got this around Mar 2025 and end of June it's already dead. Light comes on to charge but does NOT charge at all. I just recently placed another order of lights and now questioning the quality control.Definitely no way to tell because it fails outside the return window. Planned obsolescence? When it worked, it was an amazing light, magnet feature is handy when you need a free hand and the ability to clip on to things as well. Very bright and I like the moonlight feature as well when you don't need to light up the room. If you get the light, make sure you check the charging before the return period or you'll be stuck with a $30 refrigerator magnet. Props to Olight for reaching out and making amends with my misfortune.They responded quickly and refunded my purchase. Very commendable to take responsibility and correct the issue.I definitely will try again to repurchase this item.I have many other olight products which have stood the test of time with no problems.Although, I have 2 other products that failed which they have not contacted me about. The others being the lighted sphere which will not charge, and the light similar to this one but had the 3 lights built in. This one also failed to charge, this was in a few months after purchase. All 3 pictures do not work.

This compact light is versitile and handy for EDC. It's small enough for pocket. It's got a strong magnet but the clip makes it more versatile. I've used this little guy working on my Wifes Truck resto under the dash. The red light option is great to save your nightvision.Overall, a bright light w/ white / red light options make this a very versatile and compact EDC. I gave these out during the holidays to my bosses at work. We live in a rural area of Texas, so a great EDC for barn chores and chasing wayward animals in the winter' mornings. (btw I got a handsome Christmas bonus! I can't blame it on the light , but they were impressed with the gift, nonetheless!)

This past Christmas, I got my husband a tactical stocking. On it was a molle system, which I intended on “decorating” with this little 2” light my husband had mentioned wanting in passing. He was shocked to see it come Christmas. He didn’t anticipate me having gotten it for him, thinking that the light was actually a good 30-50$ more expensive than the price listed here. When he turned it on, I near went blind, and for that alone I would have imagined it would have been a bit more expensive too; had I not known.The light arrived in excellent packaging. A sturdy cardboard type box, containing typical warning/ instructions, the light and charging cable. The light itself is made out of metal, and is much more durable than I had originally anticipated for an item of its cost, brightness and size. It also has a clip and magnetic backing, making it easy to use hands free or store (like on a metal locker). Lastly, the light has only had a brief charge (both current battery it arrived with and a small additional charge after), and been used sporadically. So far there has been no visible decline in battery life despite use/ lack thereof or quality of the light output either.Suffice to say, it is a powerful and well constructed light that is easily worth the price.
