Good scope, reasonable price… you get what you pay for plus a bit more.
This is a solid workhorse scope for many practical applications for entry to intermediate level use. My personal use cases for this scope are audio (including synthesizers and other generated audio), and HF ham radio. For these purposes, 70mhz is perfectly adequate. Having 4 channels adds a great deal of utility. The controls have a slightly different arrangement than many other brands, but have the same essential functionality. These differences are mostly in the knob and button controls and their orientation. Menus are similar to how other brands are arranged with any differences only being minor. I have only worked with FFT in the math, and had success doing basic frequency analysis. Doing that and basic scope functions let me play with resolutions and scaling functions. Both horizontal and vertical adjustments work as expected and I was able to get useful visualizations and data. The package size and layout is great for my purposes, big enough to easily use, small enough to set up in a wide range of work areas. The screen is easy to read and presents cleanly. You can hook this to a larger monitor through the HDMI interface, but you do not have any visual resolution advantage. I will likely continue using just the built in screen, only. All in all, a practical scope at a reasonable price. It will be great for troubleshooting, signal tracing, as well as basic equipment calibrating.

Amazing!
This is an amazing scope at a reasonable price! I have been using it for a few months and I have been very impressed with the features. I thought the touch screen would be annoying, but it actually adds to the ease of use for some of the settings. The automatic measurements are spot on. My only frustration was when the cursors "stopped working" but I simply had to click on the Cursor Settings to re-assign a channel (not sure how "none" was an option.) If you have had ANY experience using a scope, you will be happy with this one.

Excellent scope. Great features and speed.
Design: Rigol definitely stepped their game up this time. I've been using mostly Siglent due to better interface. Not this time. Rigol cleaned up the front panel, moved a lot of features into intuitive touch-screen menus. Hardware: Overall I feel like this is a pretty big leap over their older scopes in this price segment. This scope is basically an android tablet. It is tiny, gets powered by a USB-C power supply. Hardware is very power-efficient. Screen is responsive and precise. Probes are standard cheap BNC type. Perfectly adequate for 70MHz. Accuracy: For the price it is very good. The added resolution is nice, but I wouldn't say it's a game changer. I just don't work with that level precision in my garage. Triggering is still razor sharp. I heard there is a way to upgrade memory depth, which I guess could be very helpful if you're trying to catch a longer signal. Acquires AM and FM waves very accurately in AC-coupling mode. Functionality: It has all of the math features that you'd need. The FFT is blazing fast. This truly feels like a generational leap compared to last gen. Word on the block is that Rigol is using a custom ASIC to achieve such speeds. Areas to improve: I think the physical interface could be improved even more. Rigol does their typical Rigol thing with using different fonts around the panel. The included probe color rings don't match CH4. Honestly, the touch screen is so good that I would just consider using a 10" display and removing physical controls for the next iteration.

Great Utility Scope
Purchased to replace a TEK TDS220 with math module with a faded screen. The Rigol DHO802 is a couple generations newer in technology and I am very happy with its performance. I did have to adjust to this being a computer based analysis tool rather than an electronic emulation of a CRT scope. It takes some time to boot, but no longer that it takes a CRT scope to stabilize. It does sometimes lock up like any computer system, which can be annoying. There is a restore factory settings option which I found helpful once when it would not clear a bug in XY display after multiple reboots. The screen is clear and bright enough for my work environment. Traces are different colors to aid in operation. Time and amplitude accuracy are excellent. User interface took some time to learn and I keep the manual handy as I gain familiarity. This scope has a wealth of analytics and measurement features which cover all of my needs and much that I do not use. DMM and frequency measurements match the HP bench meters I have been using, so this one instrument has the accuracy and capability of replacing a bench scope, frequency counter, DMM and low frequency spectrum analyzer. Controls are a combination of analog scope emulation and touch screen tablet, with multiple options for basic operations. Touch screen is responsive most of the year, but when the air is dry, I use a touch screen stylus. There is no printed documentation, but the on line manual has been extremely useful and is well written. A person considering this purchase can get a copy and see if the instrument will cover their needs. I printed major extracts because I prefer having a reference open to the section I need to the on line help. The manual is included in the instrument help section for access to less frequently used sections. I am very satisfied with this instrument and would buy it again without hesitation. The software lockups were annoying, and I do not like the USB-C power connector, although this choice does allow the convenience of using a generic power brick.

Low price with advanced touch screen.
I purchased the RIGOL DHO802 Oscilloscope on October 5, 2023. The price was $ 299.99 US dollars. It's a great scope and the touch screen makes it so easy to use. The front screen plastic is also scratch proof. Please take note the black area that you see in the pictures is not the screen size, because of the touch screen the actual screen size is smaller at 3 - 3/8 x 6 -1/8 or 56 mm x 88mm. It's powered by a LiteOn 120 volt ac adapter with a USB-C connector, MN: PA-1650-58. It has threaded inserts on the back for a 100mm Vesa mount, 4 mm screws. It also has an HDMI connector for a large high def monitor, and the OS will scale the resolution up to a high rate to match the monitor, CrowVi or elecrow dot com is the company name. You can also use a mouse and connect to the Web. It runs the Android OS - 7.1.2. One of the reasons I bought this scope was so I wouldn't have to purchase an isolation transformer for it. With the AC adapter power supply, the scope is isolated from other test equipment and won't get damaged from common grounds. See the video on You - Tube: "How Not To Blow Up Your Scope" on EEVBlog. The PDF help file is built in. It also has a lot of self test features.

Great scope/great value
This is my second oscilloscope. My first was a "starter" scope, which worked OK and did the job. But it only had two channels, and I needed more. Then came the Rigol DHO804 whose price was surprisingly low with a very solid reputation. The Rigol is clearly a next-level class of scope. This shows up in the relative absence of lock-ups (not that they aren't reported to have some), the accuracy of the lower millivolt measurements, and the general sturdiness/stability of the physical and software qualities of the scope. There's a lot going on in this scope, and it works as expected. One significant value point is that the scope's software uses Android as its operating system. Combined with the touch screen which works well, the user interface is clean and sophisticated. For example, it presents transparent dialog boxes in which you can change settings (in the foreground) while watching how that affects the display output (which is transparently visible in the background behind the dialog box). Nice! Though this scope is limited to 70Mhz input bandwidth, aside from that limitation, it appears to use pretty much the same software and UI as Rigol's faster, more expensive scopes. So as long as that upper bound of frequency is acceptable, you get almost all the features and functionality you'll see in higher-end scopes. It feels like a professional scope. Another great feature is that the scope has a built-in web interface that serves up a remote-control window in your web browser. This lets me take full control of the scope UI using my laptop. The remote display is quite responsive (not laggy at all). I plugged a USB wifi adapter into the Rigol (instructions for this are out on the web), and the whole wireless remote setup fell right into place. By using the remote UI, fine tuning the scope and saving/naming screenshots is a snap. This is a great scope, and a great value. Unless you are a professional with prior experience and a need for a particular functionality not provided by this scope, you will not be dissatisfied. It's a very tight, very well made, very capable package.

Fit's my limited space and has all the features I will need and then some I won't!
Many state the best bang for the price and feature rich. I believe it! Did initial testing and quite please with the results. Nice and small and compact and fits in my very limited workspace. Only negative thing it gave off a slight heat burning smell. Was aware of this from the reviews. So been turning on and leaving it on at least 8-12hrs. over last few days. And the smell seems to be going away. So just a new smell needing to be heated out over time. Wanted to go for cheaper 70mhz. but would have had to wait another week to 10 days. And was itching to get one so went with the 100mhz. and 4 channels tho have doubts i need 4. And it was delivered in 2 days. Quite Happy with it! As probably the best scope you can get for under $500 mark. And highly recommend it! A plus it is also hackable like the 70mhz to increase bandwith. The DHO 814 can be hacked to 250mhz,50Mpts,Can and Lin decoding.

It works with a mouse!
This is a really nice machine. Others have plenty of better-informed comments. I'll point out one cool thing: I had an old wireless mouse kicking around. I popped the receiver into the RIgol's USB-A port in the front, and boom! I now have a mouse for my scope. I actually much prefer it to the touch screen: less reaching, you don't obscure the screen while making selections, and the mouse is more precise. This worked without any messing around at all. So slick.

Great Oscilloscope (attaching photos because for some reason I am unable to attach videos)
Firstly, thanks to salicontech for making this oscope available in India. It is a great budget scope having 12bit ADC and 100 meg bandwidth. The build quality is quite sturdy. Two out of the 7 knobs have steps to them The resolution is also great as you get 25Mpts memory for single channel..... It has inbuilt measurement features (duh). It's touchscreen, so browsing around is a breeze. You can save photos of the signals on a pendrive and it has internal storage as well. Overall, a great buy for engg students or hobbyists.

Dobry zakup
Generalnie jestem zadowolony z tego oscyloskopu. Ogółem - trzyma parametry, jest wygodny w użyciu, a z donglem WiFi umożliwia szybkie i wygodne przesyłanie obrazu do komputera. Jest jeden warty wspomnienia minus względem starego DS1052E, a mianowicie, według mnie prędkość próbkowania równa 1.25 GS/s jest niemalże wirtualna. Dlaczego?

Wanted one a long time
This is the full 100 mhz version. Some people buy the cheaper one and hack it to make the response 100 mhz + but I dont work that way. check out the eevblog for reviews and commentaries on the Rigol lineup. This scope will do everything I need a scope to do for the rest of my life. Other scopes around the same price have slightly more features, but this one has better resolution and everything I need.
