UGL 21613 1 Gallon Bamboo Beige Drylok® Latex Base Concrete Paint2 - House Paint - desertcart.com Review: Great Product - Unusual Application - I use Drylok to paint my 21 year old Trex deck. This early version of Trex (basic mixture of plastic and saw dust extruded into deck boards) was great for my deck; but the deck is so large and the Trex product was so new at that time, I could only get enough linear feet in Trex's dark brown color, which clashed with the house colors. Solution, paint it. But finding a paint that would adhere to Trex was a challenge. The local hardware store recommended Drylok Concrete Floor Paint, and the Bamboo Beige color complemented the colors of my home. I have used this product about every other year for the last 21 years, to freshen the color and cover isolated areas where the paint has chipped off. It is easy to apply by brush (trim work) and roller, adheres exceptionally well, and gives the deck a fresh clean look. My local hardware store fell victim to one of the big box hardware stores, which did not carry this particular Drylok paint. I am so convinced that Drylock Concrete Floor Paint is the only paint for this application that I would accept no substitutes, and fortunately found it online. Review: Easy to apply and Work with. - This concrete floor paint is very rugged to use in High traffic areas. What you must do with this paint is to let it cure for at least 7 days or longer before it hardens to the surface it was applied to. Then after that it can take the traffic. This also has a very low out gas. The best of all is the cleanup-since it is latex base you just use plain old water to clean everything up.

Perfect
I notice it came from Home Depot and I'll keep this in mind next time I order because places I usually order it from have not had it in stock for a while, and I see here I can't buy another at present. Out of stock - says "see buying options". Anyway, all the floors in my home are cement, and only one has carpet or flooring. I have used this paint on all the floors (Bamboo Beige - I'm not one for grey). I have two small sections of floor left where I need to pry up some tiles, sand, and paint. Been putting it off, and am now getting to it. I normally pay $45 to $50 a gallon, and this time I paid $63. It is worth it. The left over will be used for some wood planters outside when warm weather hits. Very long wood planters. Last year I experimented and used this on one of the three planters and my two front doors inside and out. Heavy duty glass doors. Did the steel frame in white and glass in this bamboo beige. Someone painted them black in past and it would not scrape off, so I painted over the black, and they look surprisingly very good. Paint on planters and doors are still fine after much rain and this winter weather we are having at present. I also used this on an inside small wood shelving unit so it would match the floor and on the woodwork in that room for the same reason (but also coated it with polyurethane after). Simply put - this is fantastic paint for cement floors and other. Very durable. I mean by itself too. I don't put that sealant or heavy shiny stuff on it (where I used it on floor and planters and doors). Has held up on these floors since May 2020, and it is now Feb 5, 2022.

Easy to apply
Application was easy with a roller. I applied the paint to the floor of our 100 year old basement floor which was never treated before after mopping it twice and let dry. Results are great.

Great product !!!!!
Painting floor in crawl space under house. GREAT PRODUCT !!!!! Rolled out ease and covered well. Clean up with soap and water breeze. Just ordered two more gallons. Also used DRY LOK extreme on cinder block foundation 9 years ago as a preventive measure. Again a Great ...... product line. Trust me on this. I'm a very particular retired Engineer who never settles for good enough. Hope this helps.

Easy to use
Based on previous reviews I ordered two gallons to do garage floor. However I only needed one as it covered very well. I went ahead and put a second coat on as I had the extra paint. I waited 7 days to put my car back in the garage. The paint peeled under the front tires the first time I parked on it.

Soft finish.
Looks beautiful but it will not stick to the floor. Followed directions, put two coats down, if you move anything over it the paint peals off. This is after a full 6 or 7 full months on the floor. This paint does not dry hard

Garage floor painted
I bought this product to paint my garage floor. I swept, washed, acid etched, washed.. waiting for concrete to dry. Then applied 1st coat, waited 3 hours, then applied 2nd coat. Paint went on smooth, i went heavy on the application on the first coat, so the 2nd coat was just touch up. I waited a day to park cars on it, i also bought new parking mats for the cars, just to protect my newly painted floor. Definitely buy car parking mats also. I didnt seal mine, its been down a week now, no issues. No sealer means i can easily just touch up when needed.
