Rejuvenation Therapeutics - L-Lysine, Supports Healthy Skin (60 Vegan Capsules, 500mg)

I’ve been taking this product (1 capsule/day) for the last 4 months. It has worked as I intended it to and I haven’t had any cold sores in that time, (last semester of grad school when stress was through the roof and surely should have had something). I also think it important to note that in those 4 months I gained 9 lbs without changing anything else in my life (I have a healthy diet and workout/lift regularly). At first this freaked me out, but since I can’t find these 9 lbs anywhere in the mirror, I have come to suspect that the majority of it is from muscle. Again, I blame this on the lysine, since that was the only change I made. I haven’t been able to take a body composition or a body fat percentage test in order to confirm this - again this is just my suspicion. UPDATE: suspicion confirmed. My body fat percentage stayed relatively the same concluding that most of what I gained was muscle. Thank you lysine.

I have been taking L-Lysine for YEARS to avoid cold sores! But the tablets are super huge and were becoming more and more difficult to swallow. I have tried different brands, I've tried liquid (tastes awful), but am so happy to have finally found the capsules. They are so much easier to swallow than the big tablets. I have this on auto-delivery!!

I use this product for my immune system. If I don't take at least 500mg daily I break out in fever blisters. When I am going to be in hot sun or wind I take 1000mg. This is the only source where I have found it in capsule form.

Sprinkle in their food a few times a month. Used as an immune booster.

Fingers crossed it seems to be working. I’ve under an intense amount of stress recently and haven’t had a break out since taking one capsule daily. If my experience continues I’ll be ordering regularly.

These are really nice capsules that are easy to swallow and digest well, leaving no after taste.

So this is the SECOND time I have tried to purchase L-Lysine on Amazon-different brands. BOTH times the ingredients listed on the bottles does NOT match the ingredients on the photos on the listing. I received Rejuvenation L-Lysine on 2/3/20 and the manufacture date on the bottles is September 2018!!!! 2018!!!! I am returning and will NOT be buying L-lysine or ANY supplements from Amazon. I will buy in person at the store even if I have to pay more, so I can see the label and the manufacture date.
