Completely unexpected. I think this might actually be my favorite matcha I've tried so far! I don't even want to drink any of the ones I already have opened anymore lol. Normally not a fan of bitterness, this has a slight hint and it's a perfect blend with the flavor, I do like grassy matcha and this has that but not overpowering, the color is vibrant and beautiful, it smells enticing and it foams great with little effort. I usually drink as an unsweetened latte but always try my matcha powder alone with just powder and water first to get a feel for the flavor and this one is amazing. As far as aftertaste... it's as beautiful as the drink and doesn't change. 1000% buying this again

I have been drinking Japaness matcha for the last 10 years now, and have tried many different brands online and purchased from many different local Asian stores. I was finally impressed with the quality and taste of this matcha, and think I finally found "the one" after all these years. This is definitely high quality matcha, and one of the best out there I have tried so far. It has a smooth earthy, and floral notes, with a rich and beautiful emerald green color. This is definitely premium matcha and has been sourced from the best place. If you are particular about your matcha and truly want to know what true ceremonial matcha tastes like, without having to visit Japan, please try this. You will be pleased with the it's authentic taste and profile.

Packaging is very nice. It has a small metal tin flap you need to break when opening. It's ground up fine that when you open it you might get a small bit of matcha dust flying from the tin cover. Overall the container looks very nicely made and it looks like it will do the job of keeping the matcha fresh for a while. The color of the matcha is a vibrant green. I took these pictures indoors near natural light. I would say don't believe all the pictures you see in the reviews because lighting/camera settings can change the color of the matcha pictures drastically. These are unedited pictures near natural light so the green looks exactly as I see it with my own eyes. The matcha dissolves nicely leaving no chunks in it. I need to give it another taste test before I write more about the taste. The matcha tastes very fresh with no odd flavors that I noticed on my first try. Unlike another matcha I had to return, but it was culinary grade so I can't really compare them to each other. Overall I'm impressed by this matcha, it's not as expensive as Ippodo so I'll give this one a try before buying Ippodo.

Matcha Snob Approved. If you’re looking for a ceremonial grade matcha at a daily-use price, Matcha Konomi is it. I’ve been buying this matcha on Subscribe and Save for years. The color is a gorgeous spring pea, the taste is rich, fresh, and never bitter. I use a strainer to ensure any static electricity clumps aren’t an issue. I use an electric whisk with the hot water because it gets the match more frothy than a bamboo whisk. I’ve also added the matcha straight to a bottle of chocolate Fairlife for a protein matcha latte. Clean, focused energy. (The sellers send a piece of cute origami washi paper in each order. I’ve recently begun making fridge magnets with the paper. See picture.)

Se nota que si es primer cosecha, faltaría ver si la calidad de la planta es top, ya que he probado otros matcha ceremoniales que si marcan la diferencia. Sin embargo por este precio y con entrega en México, sin recurrir a Amazon de EEUU es un producto difícil de superar en calidad vs precio. ¡¡Se agradece el papel de Origami para hacer alguna figura!!

Textura, color, sabor, facilidad de preparación, buenos resultados en salud. Totalmente recomendable.

Es bueno pero si muy poquito producto para el costo.
