I use mine until they are in shreds. They are soft and clean nicely and don't smell. When they get dirty just throw them in your washing machine with the rest of the dish towels, however, don't put them in the dryer, instead flatten them out on your kitchen counter and let them dry naturally.. This will extend their useful life. Review: Five Stars - I love these dishcloths. They clean nicely and dry quickly. The variety of prints are fun.
