Excellent hiking poles. Have been using them for about a year. Easy to adjust, lightweight, very good for muddy spots, water/stream crossing, uphills and downhills. The cork is nice and comfortable to hold for extended periods of time. Very happy with it.

My poles have been through a year and a half of use and are going strong. The snow baskets broke recently but that has more to do with me carving stairs into a wall of crusty snow, the poles maintained their shape. I've even used them to self arrest on steeper slopes and they're still great! They've been forced into rocky crevices, tossed downhill and stepped on. Super happy with these poles. I didn't realize how light they were until I held a friend's aluminum pole, quite a difference. My only regret is that I got khaki. If it rolls downhill in brush, it isn't easy to spot sometimes, but that's a personal problem and not the pole's fault.

I searched for a good set of trekking poles for my long hikes in the mountains. I did happen upon a few reviews that usually claim that these are the best so bought them to see. Well, I wasn't disappointed. Pros: -Weight. These are very light where you don't notice them if put away on your pack or by simply using them on the trail. The carbon components was a good call here and they don't sacrifice strength. -Pack up. Just like with other trekking poles these are easy to attach to your bag. Each bag is different. Mine has the trekking pole hoops which works well. What makes this trekking poles wonderful is the reduction size it can take. The top of the trekking pole doesn't stick out from the top view of my bag and the bottom doesn't dig into the dirt when I set my bag down. -Design. There are three sets of poles that allows it to be very tall or very short. They even included a measure of both metric and imperial on the poles to make it easy for anyone. The clamps are easy to adjust and feel durable. The feet come with attachments depending on the state of the trail. -Price. This is pretty reasonable compared to other trekking poles that are over 120 dollars. I saw a pair going for 200 dollars when looking for the right poles. There are even companies selling just one pole for 80 dollars. With that being said, the price here is beyond worth the quality. If you're on a budget then I would suggest these. 60 dollars for two amazing trekking poles is too good to ignore. Cons: -Attachments. The attachments are pretty good, but their hard to remove. I scrap my hand by trying to remove the storage attachment. While on the trail and being tired, the last thing you want is to fight your trekking poles. That is my review. Despite the con, I still give these full marks. If anything happens in the future I'll be sure to update this review. So if the poles break in 6 months I'll let you all know.

first off, I'll never downgrade a product just because the company itself may have acted in an unethical way unrelated to the product, so first: the carbon walking sticks themselves are amazing. They come with a case to put in all accessories, appear to be of outstanding quality, with high-grade materials, and I'm excited to use them today during a long hike (my first use of them). I'm an experienced hiker and have bought hiking sticks for years so I can tell good quality when I see it. Four star review due to a design flaw that makes trying to adjust the strap size almost impossible to do, even with instructions. I sent in a request by email (no customer service telephone) three days ago and still have not heard from them. 2. My issue: when you get the sticks the there is a card attached to them. The card promises you $100 in bonuses/implied that you will get free products. In order to see this bonus the card says you must scratch off a greyed- out circle, then register your email. Finally they ask for your cell number. When you get to the "bonus" page it simply says something like-"your warranty for one year is worth $40, excellent service is worth $40, and you will be getting emails from us about new products with the first option to buy them, worth $20. There is NO bonus, LOL This is nothing more than an irritating marketing ploy designed to extract personal information from the buyer. In fact, I emailed the company 3 days ago (their excellent service does not include a telephone number to call, apparently) when I got the sticks because of the design flaw and they never got back to me :).

2 pairs purchased for use by 2 - 78 year old Kiwis, primarily for walking in in Sri Lanka. Beautifully light and fold down nicely when not in use. High standard of finish. Also, great service by vendor. Very happy with the purchase.
