I've had it for 3 years now no issues

I bought this to upgrade an old power supply in my Unraid storage server. Installation was easy, and the cables are good quality, not super stiff. I have owned and had this in operation for a few months now, with no issues to speak of. Some people online mentioned they experienced coil whine or noise with the Vertex GX power supplies. Mine is quiet, no noise apart from the cooling fan. Which is not noticeable. Overall very satisfied with this power supply!

The cables are extremely flexible and soft (for lack of a better term). This makes cable managing 1000x easier and made it a breeze to route and bend cables.

Top quality build! Virtually silent running even with fan activated. Pure, clean, stable voltages and current for my home built computer! Highly Recommended! Remember... Seasonic builds a lot of "private label" power supplies for other top-name companies! So why not stick with the best there is?

I purchased this on 9/14/25 and this is an old standard ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0, look for ATX 3.1 & 5.1 standard. This is a new old stock power supply.

I bought the Seasonic Vertex GX-750 expecting long-term reliability from a premium brand. After about six months of use, the unit developed two serious issues. First, the fan suddenly became noisy: it now makes a loud rattling / clicking sound, very similar to a worn bearing, and is clearly audible in non-hybrid mode. This is not acceptable for a PSU in this price range. Second, the PSU has started randomly latching off. The system instantly loses power as if protection is tripping, and the PSU will not start again until I switch it off at the rear or unplug the power cable. This can happen even under moderate load. I tested the same system with a different PSU and did not see this behaviour, so the problem appears to be with the Vertex itself. Overall, this is very disappointing for a six-month-old unit. I will be requesting an RMA, but based on this experience I cannot confidently recommend this model for systems that need reliable 24/7 operation.

Mandé a garantía directamente con Seasonic USA debido a los altos ruidos de la fuente debido a un problema de traqueteo del ventilador y Coil Whine en cargas altas. incluso en reposo hacía ruidos. La unidad que me reemplazaron también tiene problemas. Estos problemas suelen presentarse de 6 meses a 1 año. El proceso de RMA a México fue una pesadilla, además de que aduanas me cobró $780 ($44 USD) de importación. La fuente que me mandaron de reemplazo es 3.0 cuando en el mercado ya estaba la versión 3.1. En los cables de reemplazo sí me mandaron el 12V-2x6 pero en la fuente muestra 12VHPWR. Tanto en el modo híbrido como en el modo normal sucede. En el modo híbrido hace ruido de zumbido cada cierto tiempo y en el modo normal es constante, por lo que es un problema del ventilador. Su "Fanless Mode" que publicitan en la ficha de su producto es inútil ya que aún sigue teniendo problemas de ruido debido a otras causas. Evita esta marca "Premium"
