I wanted a fire guard for our log burner, to stop our daft house rabbit going near it when it was in use. I like the plain design of this guard, which almost disappears into the decor so isn't jarring to the eye. The "flaps" can fold at any angle from 0° to 180°, and it does not feel flimsy at all. It's very easy to put up in place, and folds away flat too. I'm very happy with this.

Very impressed. Fireguard arrived in good time & very well packaged. This fireguard is VERY sturdy, very Solid & strong, does not twist or warp in any way. Looks very nice & doesn’t look out of place at all on the hearth. We bought this to keep a puppy safe and can honestly say it is just the job! Would definitely recommend this for puppy safety.

I need it something to protect my fireplace and found the best one like a size and material. Easy to assembly, adjustable and very good quality. Price is very reasonable too.

This is a sturdy, heavy'ish fireguard - and looks great! I feel however, that although it would stop coals or sparks jumping out of the fire, it could offer better security for little ones and boistrous dogs, that could bump into it causing it to collapse, by having some sort of simple devise to lock the screen into a more solid three sided shape. I have bought mine as I'll have an energetic toddler here for Christmas. As the manufacturer only claim it to be a 'spark guard' please be aware that it is not said to be safe for children and pets.

This is an attractive, but subtle fire guard. It is sturdy, with a good weight in the frame. The mesh is a small size and unlikely to allow anything to fall through if you have an open fire. I use mine on a 5kw wood burning stove and when I open the dual doors to allow more heat out I can easily and safely place the guard infront of the open burner and the doors even in their maximum opening position.

Arrived before expected, which was a bonus! The fireguard is sturdy and well-made and looks stylish with the decorative scroll-work. It is not going to be used as a fireguard though - it is to try and stop the dog jumping up at the TV which is on the wall! Sio far, so good! Thank you
