C.O. Bigelow Shaving Cream, 5.2 oz Mens Shaving Cream with Eucalyptus Oil for Sensitive Skin & All Skin Types

Researching shave creams, I've heard people fondly recommend Proraso. Upon further investigation, I found C.O. Bigelow Shaving Cream is private labelled by Proraso for C.O. Bigelow. Some suggest C.O. Bigelow Shaving Cream is actually Proraso Red with the scent of Proraso Green. Being about the same price, I decided to purchase the C.O. Bigelow. Placing a small dollop into my shaving bowl, I was perturbed with how little lather I managed to stir up with my shave brush. However, upon applying to my face, a slick & slightly foamy lather was achieved. In no way was it foamy as the typical Barbasol, but enough for a comfortable shave. My face felt invigorated as I effortlessly glided my razor around my face. Feeling clean & fresh, I was impressed with the quality of my shave. Shaving has now become a ritual meditation, instead of a chore. The C.O. Bigelow Shaving Cream is a great shaving product, which I plan to continue purchasing, perhaps possibly giving Proraso products a try to compare. Was looking for something to help me not have razor burn and lessen the red bumps I get after shaving. This works great. It is a thicker cream but doesn’t have a weird residue after use. The smell is clean and subtle. Creates a rich lather and helps to get a close shave. Skin feels smooth and moisturized after use. I’ll keep using this cream.

Best shaving cream I have ever used. I have sensitive skin and a thick course beard requiring frequent shaving. In using this product the last year or so, I have found the shaves are smooth and I don't get skin irritation. While it's not cheap, after years of trying different shaving creams and gels, I have found this cream which will be my choice going forward.

I’ve been shaving my head and face for nearly 3 decades, and the absolute best shaving experience I’ve ever had! From dry shaving in the Army to a hot towel shave experience at the Claus Porto flagship store in Porto, Portugal, I’ve run the gamut shaving levels. Very smooth shave with absolutely zero nicks. The texture, smell and longevity of this product cannot be matched. And I’ve used them all, trust me. Wish I would’ve found out about this before I turned 50. This will be the only shaving cream I use going forward.

You can’t go wrong with this stuff ! My wife bought me this years ago and I’ve been using it ever since. Great lather , makes your face super slick for shaving. And I can stretch out my Gillet blades longer using this soap. I use a brush with it, but you can also just use your hands to lather. The best part and just takes a dime size dab. My facial hair is thick also.

WOW! GREAT shave. Super slick, smooth and comfortable shave. I have shaved for 50 years with various Foams and gels. This is easily, by far, the most enjoyable shave I have experienced. I am never going back to traditional. Officially hooked and will be ordering again. Very highly recommend. Super slick, Pleasant fragrance.

Really great on all areas—slick shave without nicks and cuts, great smell, great value. The only thing is that it’s a very thin lather. Maybe I’m doing it wrong with my badger hair brush. All in all will buy again.

Premium lather buildup within minutes. Very clean shave, with eucalyptus leaving a ‘cold’ sensation. I am never using other shaving foam/cream/gel, neither I use any face wash afterwards. Ample quantity. Just take about an inch worth and it will do the magic. I can’t believe I never came across this in decades! Just remember to take your time so the cream exfoliates for a super smooth/clean shave!
