I am trying to replace a fuse marked 500mA/250 VP is this a direct replacement?

These are 500 ma/250v, but you also need to know if the fuse you need is slow or fast blow, and its size. These are 6x30mm, but fuses come in a number of sizes.

No, no, no...

Never mind what the description says, these are not... repeat NOT... Slow Blow fuses. I bought them for use in high powered, tube driven, guitar amplifiers. These are only slightly different than regular glass fuse tubes... very apparent and visually obvious. Slightly over priced for a real slo-blo fuse and definitely over priced for what it actually is.
