Amazing little drill. Worth it for the price! I really like the variable speed and the ability to change the direction. It's only "portable" if you use a battery pack. Still needs to be plugged in.

It run well and can spin fast and slow but the drill tips get dirty easily. It gets hot after 1 or 2 nails but it easy to use and hold.

We recently started doing our own gel nails at home using a Beetles nail kit; but realized that trying to file old jail off of our nails was really hard using a normal hand file. I bought the Alety Electric Nail Drill to speed up the removal process of jail from our nails. As a beginner we needed something that was light weight rather than a heavy power tool. The adjustable dial is smooth and is perfect for natural nail prep without causing any harm to your nails. I was surprised by how quiet this electric file is it doesn’t have a high-pitched sound that you often hear in the nail salon. this kit comes with iridescent bits and they seem to hold up very well and they don’t get hot like the cheaper bits do. It is USB powered so you have to be near a power bank or an outlet to use it. The cord is a decent length but just know that you’ve got to be near a power source to use this and there’s not a carrying case or an instruction manual, but it’s lightweight design- it’s made of aluminum alloy makes it look like premium quality. The file stays cool for a while even after you’ve been using it. There is a forward and reverse switch so you can use those while you’re using the drill and all the bits are universal size so you can easily upgrade later if you wanted to, but this is a perfect starter drill for anyone starting out doing at home nails. For the price point, this is a great investment!

It does a good job for basic shaping and touch-ups, but if you’re looking for something quick and easy, you might need a little practice. Overall, it’s a decent tool, just not as intuitive as it looks online. Perfect if you enjoy taking your time and learning as you go.

It’s got great power and gets the job done. Well worth the price! It’s good for beginners too. I just wish it was cordless.

this was a great product for beginner nail diy at home. ive learned so much with this and after two years, it broke. honestly, its so worth it for the price. i will be purchasing it again.

It is as advertised. The instructions are too small for little ol' me to see but it was easy to work out. Worked great on my nails but a little bit awkward when someone tried to file down my cat's nails, wasn't appreciated by her ladyship. I got it to help destress journal pages and as a tool for smoothing clay items. Probably not what the makers intended. Whatever!

This is a cool starter portable electric nail filer. It does the job. The only concern I have is for the different sizes of attachments. I would say that they could be a little bit smoother, but other than that they were.
