This blanket worked great on a jackery 500 power bank. At 40° outside in a tent with a full size 4-inch memory pad directly on the ground a full size sleeping bag on top of that and this full size electric blanket inside the sleeping bag and underneath us. We had to turn this blanket way down to setting number four, very toasty! After sleeping for 8 hours my power bank still had 70% capacity. The blanket will draw about 80 to 90 Watts initially then it cuts off thermostatically sipping only a few watts until it bounces from two Watts up to 20 then maybe 40 or 80 again but only for a few seconds at a time then its back to sipping 2 watts and maintaining the temperature. Of course the higher the heat setting and the colder the temperature outside the more frequently it's going to need to bump up the Watts. We were very impressed with how long we will be able to run this on a power bank. Make sure your power bank is pure sine wave. I purchased a full size blanket and it was much larger than I expected. If you are planning on using this in a single sleeping bag I would recommend getting the twin.

Bought this heated blanket to replace an older Sunbeam heated blanket that had finally pooped out after twenty years. I was pleasantly surprised at how much softer this newer version is and at the improved connection port for the cord. I like to keep my bedroom window open essentially all fall and winter and, while we've only had two nights get down to freezing so far this year, the blanket heats very well and keeps me warm even at low settings. I think the highest setting I used for the freezing nights was a four and I was toasty all night. The only reason I couldn't give this blanket a full five stars is that, unlike the older version, it doesn't hold onto the heat or time settings from one use to the next, so I have to reset it nightly. Additionally, the settings screen is BRIGHT and makes my entire room glow blue if I don't turn it face down. The older version had a soft orange glow that didn't contaminate the room with unnecessary light and I really wish they'd stuck to a similar light for this one. Even with the annoyances listed above, I'd highly recommend this heated blanket if you're looking for something lightweight and washable that works well. Hopefully it lasts as long as my old one!

This is my 2nd purchase of this exact same color and brand. My last sunbeam lasted 8 years and was used constantly during the winter months. The new controls are a good improvement and can more easily be seen in the dark. I love the warmth but not heavy weight on my feet and the quality of the material, in addition to it being washable, is an additional bonus of the product. Given all the above, and how long my previous one lasted the price point is more than fair. I kept the old blanket for my husband to use on his camping trips.

It was nice. But we haven't even had it a year. And really only used it like 20 times if that bc we bought it late last year. But 1 of the sides is sending an error code and wont work. We are in the dead of winter and could really use it in the evening.

Snug as a bug under a Sunbeam. With 12 temperature settings and up to 12 hours sleep time -- you can be gently warmed or toasted (Not Really), but plenty warm. I like to set it for 12 hours and turn it off when I get up. I often give it a 20 minute warm up. And lately the lowest temperature setting is what I go with.

This blanket has been a very good purchase. We use it primarily to warm up the bed before we get in. If it's a cold night, I will turn it down to 1 and sleep under it. The color is probably closer to the sangria color that some items use as a color name. While the blanket has been great, we are less happy with the control. It automatically reverts to 6 once it's turned off, the clicks are somewhat noisy, and it is a bright light. I hide it under the edge of the bed to tone it down. That said, it has been worth the money, especially during this recent Arctic blast!

Order from Amazon or somewhere else NOT the actual Sunbeam company. The first one I ordered smelled strongly of plastic, so I tried to contact Sunbeam. I waited a few days - heard nothing so I tried again - still heard nothing. I requested an exchange with Amazon. It was accepted immediately and the new blanket was shipped out before anyone at Sunbeam even got back to me. They also had a bunch of questions that were already answered in my first attempt to reach out which would have been both annoying and caused more delay. My blanket arrived soon after and I'm very happy with it, but I will Never Ever order directly from the manufacturer.

My old electric blanket stopped working (it was quite old) and I found that I just didn't like not having one. I searched on Amazon, compared prices elsewhere, and found this to be the best deal for a reputable brand name electric blanket. I am quite happy with it, it does what it is supposed to, and it has more heat settings than my old blanket. I also like the colour (not that it really matters, since I cover it with another blanket).

Like so many other reviews I read about this heated blanket, It had me thinking, wow maybe I should not order this one, but I went ahead and ordered it Well from most of the reviews I read, I should Have Not Ordered this blanket, it is very very thin, wires can be felt a lot, and it only gets warm on 1 side, very very disappointed in this blanket. I have a sunbeam blanket which I have been using for 6 yrs, machine wash and dry, it has never caused me any problems. So Sunbeam what is up with this blanket??? As far as Im concerned I deserve a full refund from Sunbeam as do all the other customers who have been cheated with this garbage blanket. I have bought many many items from Amazon and this is the only thing I have complained about I cannot believe in this day and age, customers are still getting ripped off by big Companies

Easy to use, warms up nice. Wires could be spread out more.
